EDIT: EU beta only, it seems.

it seems like fileplay is giving 50K OB keys.

go to www.fileplay.net/account/new  and register.

after that, go to www.fileplay.net/keys/warhammer, fill in your birth date and get a key (you might need to sign up with the account you made). worked for me^^;

the whole limited pre-order beta keys seem kinda stupid now.

 

how to download the beta

there are few ways to do so:

1. official war-europe downloader. - download.goa.com/war/clientdl/WAR%20Europe%20Downloader.exe

2. official torrent - download.goa.com/war/clientdl/wareuopenbeta.torrent

3. fileplay, who is giving the beta keys above, is also hosting the beta in separate files. after you register, look for links.

Hope their servers can handle so many

They for US or EU beta?

War-rvr.net is giving out 1500 for EU open beta, they got 1000 left I think, since around 500 posts in the thread :)

It kind of shits on the small sites who they gave a thousan or so to. No wonder they didnt put this website on their main www.wow-europe.com site.

nope, you could also use the official war-europe downloader. torrent worked better for me though.

a few of the sites that WAR listed you can download direct from. like warhammermovies.com (if you got one of the keys that is).

nope, you could also use the official war-europe downloader. torrent worked better for me though.


 

The official one is a torrent, like the wow updater.

Officially they expect around 650k subs first week after release, so they will be prepared for such numbers on the release. Open beta that is 10 days before so they must have most of the servers already prepared for open beta.

Okay, so i looked at this thread and was really excited because i have wanted to play this game since before beta even started! Anyway i followed all the instructions got a beta key and when i try to make a mythic account it promts for the beta key it says 'invalid key'.

Does anyone know what the problem is? or is anyone else having this trouble? Im positive i entered the code correctly and in ll different manners of CAPS, hyphons and spaces.

Please help!

this key is for the EU open beta, and registration for it has yet started, so you're obviously trying to put the key in the US account management, which won't work.

if you're from the UK then just save the key some where safe and wait for this site to open beta registration: www.war-europe.com;

It's an EU key and can't be activated on the Mythic site, that's just for NA. http://war-europe.com is the only place you can use the key and it's not online for beta access yet. You also need the EU Beta Client.

i thought you were supposed to make and validate new accounts other than the one on war-europe which i have BTW, am i right in saying that the place to make an official game account/OB account is at: https://accounts.eamythic.com/
