First off I want to say I'm one of those guys who hates the people saying Warhammer is a clone or a copy of WoW. THat being said this isn't related to WoW but Everquest 2.

In Everquest 2 they had a pseudo ToK aspect in the sense that if you killed a said amount of a mosters you get a title. I have seen people running around trying to get some of these cool titles like "slayer of undead" "of the Shard" and "Destroyer of faires" (my personal favorite) Anyways I think Warhammer took this Idea and vastly improved upon it. I give them kudos for coming up with this awesome idea because it will give a ton of lore on Warhammer (which I know none of...for now) and it will give me a sense of accomplishment "Woot I clicked myself 100 times! Earned the title 'Sir Pokes'a'lot"

This game is going to be fun and I can't wait for it to come out....and for all you copy nay sayers out there I leave with this.....WoW copied EverQuest...Oh snap!

ill just get me a cool title somewhere in tier 1 and whenever I see something that´ll give me a better one Ill just go for that one, so i am not really going to use the improvements that WAR would have over EQ

Plan to complete the Tome of Knowledge 100% and prolly on multiple chars.  I liked doing the deeds in LOTRO as of this moment I have everyone completed there that give a trait.  I don't much care for ones that only unlock a title I'll never use.

However WAR will prolly have similar ones but I'm really liking the lore much more atm so I do plan to do it all regardless to finish that beast they say can't be done in 3 months...hehe

I think titles and badges are underused.  I loved gaining medals in Jumpgate even for mining X amount.  Tabula Rasa has a ton of titles and its nice to have that little bit of recognition.  I think EVE could do with something similar.  I can see some pretty nasty titles being dished out for PvP crimes etc.

I love the badges idea and will help the RPG side of the game.  WAR will work because it already has a few million table top fanatics (I used to be one) who will play this game out of nostalgia more than anything else.  Like all MMO's if the community is fun and supportive it will work.

I will be doing the entire tome as well. This will be to much fun to pass up,with all we can get from the tome.

I want to see all the mobs running from me because I have killed them so many times,hehe

Not to flame but you know Ultima Online had title before EQ2 came out?

Yeah if you do big research we will are realise than most MMO dont create new things they just improve previous idea with a better twist.

For exemple MMO used to be MUD (Multi user Dungeons) (Scrolling text game on telnet)

I will also be attempting to do everything in the tome of knowledge.

Also for humorous reading about the "everything looks like WOW" crowd read my Article in the main forum titled " hey maybe we could........"

I will be doing everything in the tome, I am a big  person on lore. In wow waiting for BG's when i wasnt retired i would read the books on the table in SW. Without a story what's the point of the RPG going along with the MMO. A story wether bad or good drives the story along. This is why WAR isnt a WoW clone. Theres no killing onyxia and Black temple here. Also Blizzard took Warhammer like settings, Warhammer did not take Blizzards Warcraft settings.

The game has a story set in stone from the Table top, I have never played it mostly because im a TCG gamer in magic more then a table top player. There fore it makes me even more interested in learning everything i possibly can about WAR. The Tome will make it a simple task to find info that can indeed get rid of sites like wowhead where u get the info.

If i kill something over and over and am thinking to myself what in goods name are these things its simple just look in my tome.

I will probably do some of the funniest ones; although I hope that the most will come naturally from my playstyle, the rest I won't bother with. The Tomb of Knowledge could be considered two things depending on how you "use" it: either you farm to complete it to 100% or you see it as something fun and therefore don't care much and go on as you do, but still become happy upon completion of something. I don't want to farm Squigs to get a title for it - I want to have without knowledge of that title accomplished the deed.

What I think is funny about all the "They Copied WoW" is the fact that its nothing new. I remember the EQ or UO Clone comments being made for games that came out before WoW.
