Okay im about too order this game on Amazon does anyone know if  with the Free Super saving shipping I have to wait 3to 9 weeks after the game is actually released or  Do they atleast somehow prepare before release and can I stil cancel my order If i use the open beta code?

You get the open beta code ASAP, like as soon as you click the last button itll be in your Downloads tab. As for the shipping idk i just over nighted it.

Every other time I have preordered something from Amazon they have shipped the item from their warehouse to one of their distribution centers the day before the item was supposed to be released so that it will be immedetly ships once it is time.  So unless they have already sold out of copies it should begin shipping to you on launch day. No idea about the beta code.  I would imagine that at the very least they would invalidate your codes

They indeed send out 3 codes to your download center as soon as you order it... one for the special quest items, one for open beta, and one for the head-start. So even if you don't get your copy the first day, there is a window where the head start key will continue to work (if shipping is delayed or something.)

I have heard that the codes get blocked if you cancel the order... I wouldn't know first hand... I got my 3 codes immediately on purchase. Hope this helps.

Just because you get a beta code does that mean that you can start playing in beta right away or do you have to wait till they take on more players?

No the codes will be good for the open beta, slated for sometime between the guild beta and the headstart.  No definite date has been set.  My guess is it will be along the lines of a 2 week window.

Hopefully it will be a much smoother experience then AOC's beta.

What alot of people don;t realize is that Mythic is doing very focused beta testing, so at this point in closed beta people aren't just playing the game willy nilly, they are testing very specific tiers and battle mechanisms.

Yeah that's what I heard about the focused beta.  I suppose that makes a lot more sense than just letting people randomly run around and do whatever they want and report bugs.  Mythic seems to really have their act together when it comes to MMOs.  I hope that's the case with WAR.  AoC seems to buggy and laggy for me.
