Hi there I've played Aeria's most popular recent MMO Shaiya for a long time, stopped about 4 months ago, im curious if this Project manager represents the Shaiya section of Aeria or if it's completely different, because shaiya for me is a great game, fantastic community GM's seem friendly, GS's friendly. So im guessing this corruption hasn't been passed on to Shaiya thank god. But LC is a no go for me, if the Project Manager doesn't show respect for his/her staff, no way in hell (s)he will respect the gamers unless as said previous they hand VISA written across their forehead. I give you a thumbs up and a pat on the back to post this and reveal the Aeria's: Last Chaos true colours! You got my support! |

That's one huge overreaction. Literally.
You're taking it far too personally for this to be a matter of truth. All in all, the dramatic original post was entertaining, but only as truthful as entertainment could be. |

@abentwookie Yeah, it's crappy what happened, but let's be real... all F2P games are crap! Yes, everyone can reply saying F2P MMO A, B, C...Z is great but sorry, they aren't. If they don't generate income from a regular monthly subscription they have to go get somewhere else, who pays for the server rentals? who pays the developers? and so on... They're all about making money, and I'll be damned if I was paying thousands of dollars for some virtual items (I can't say this without laughing so hard my lungs feel like they're gonna explode) I would expect to have some sort of privilege over players who don't pay jack. I'm sorry, but that's the way the world works... If I pay more that makes me a better customer (in their eyes) than someone who pays less or nothing at all, If I'm a better customer I deserve better treatment... this isn't exclusive to Games, it's called the economy. (not trying to be sarcastic... but I'm also an idealist myself... and sometimes you have to realize some battles are just impossible to win) Regarding one example you stated as a F2P MMO that isn't like LC, Perfect World... I'm sorry but if you haven't seen the same crap happening there then you haven't played enough time... I sure did and believe me it's not great, the big item mall shoppers get a lot of "special treatment". Bad rating on a company also means nothing to me... NCSoft is rated F and I'm playing Lineage2 since the Beta, I played Aion in the CB, OB and 2 months of sub. And when GuildWars2 comes out I'm seriously thinking on buying it... so they can say it's the worst MMO company... I don't give a crap... some of their products are good (imo ofcourse) so I'll keep giving them my money. Same thing with Aeria, the only way they could go down is if what happened to you and your friends happened to regular players on all their MMOs everyday... that isn't the case I guess?
@johnmatthais Man, you reached incredible levels of douchness... who are you to say that she can't reply or she has to stop... you're basically as whiny as you're stating her to be. And you're really making yourself look as bad as that ks guy she was ranting about. I'm sure your gonna reply... "ohhh yeah, well I don't give a crap what people think of me... I say things as they are", yeah that's what all idiots say so they look real badass.... *sigh*, read a book or two on arguing skills 'cause you sure need them. |

Originally posted by Revenus I gotta go with this response, too. From reading through that big ol' wall of text, the impression I got was that all these GameSage guys were well aware that all this dodgy stuff was going on, but the only time that they actually decided to do the right thing was when they themselves started to feel the pain of it. I'd have some healthy respect for someone who went public when they found about all this hacking and corruption, but failing to do so until after you've been banned? Kinda takes the whole "righteous indignation" away, from my perspective. Don't get me wrong .. these Aeria Games guys do seem like tossers, but the GameSages hardly seem to be shimmering images of angelic purity either. |

I was never really keen to try any game from AG ..but this post has just ensured I never will So I think the Op has succeeded in making sure at least one person doesn't support the company From the Ops post I find the way AG has dealt with staff to be reprehensible and unacceptable and on principle I won't support any company like that "after the time of dice came the day of mice " |

WOOOOOOOOOOOKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG Girl, I heard what happened and this only confirms that I did the right thing of quitting my GS position and leaving this game for good!
I can't believe all the other old time GS's that decided to stay. After what happened to Kiki, I would have left without looking back. I'm in touch with Chuggy and Isador, who both were banned. I'm thinking of making a major stink, and when I get a perm ban, I will move on without EVER looking back.
I always knew that KS1lent would be BAD news for LC and AGE. He and even Ogre, run that place like a freakin' prison.
I'm glad you made this thread. Someone has to speak out and tell the truth about Aeria games. That company is the worst of the free MMOs out there! I will delete any AGE game that's installed on my PC.
Wookie, you still got me on YIM, right? I'll log in and get in touch with you and Kiki!
Much Love and Hugs!!

I usually try to avoid Aeria Games threads... but I will throw out some generic remarks. 1. Spamming a site with insults to the staff, and the community will most likely result in a ban... it doesnt matter what your reason is, it generally is not allowed. 2. Telling other community members that it is ok to break the rules (for any reason) will most likely result in a ban.... it doesnt matter what your reason is, it is generally not allowed. There have been many statements made about the staff, and how things work in Aeria Games... but no one has really asked. Heck, I am even seeing people go off and trash people who have not been in Aeria Games for a long while... As for corruption issues... well, just like any conspiracy, it is not that people plot to do wrong, it is that people dont know what is going on, and it appears that many people are coming forward to say that they knew about problems... but didnt tell anyone. So, the only clear conspiracy is that being shown by the people that are complaining... I agree that the truth is out there... and that it is pretty easy to find... but that it isnt exactly what you are claiming it to be... |

Wow did I call it or what..lol what a tool.
Guess your plan for free labor didn't isn't going as smoothly as planned. Well you know the old saying, you get what you pay for. You guys abuse your players and abuse your free labor, you didn't think there was going to be a backlash. You sit up there in San Jose with your smug attitude letting assholes run wild while taking a shit on anyone who speaks out. You and your company get everything you deserve. I know your answer is to just ban everyone(which I also called again because you are so easy to read) but you won't learn your lesson and just repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Also don't you think it's time to let everyone know you are an Aeria shill when you post? I mean you come on like some random fan, but you keep trying to push your company's agenda in certain posts. Might as well be honest about so people don't get pissed when they find out what your position is with Aeria games. At the very least you should say that you are currently involved in the MMO industry so that your posts reflect your perspective/bias. Oh well I had a good laugh from this thread at you and your comapny's expense. You'll wipe the slate clean by getting rid of these people that spoke up and move on(also lol for banning people that post on outside boards, ow petty can you get?), but you won't stop them from saying what's going on and hoopefully that will encourage people to avoid Aeria games like the plague. Since you aren't going to learn respect for the players you try and squeeze money out of every day, this solution seems much more fitting. Wonder if you'll get so bad where you'll have to schedule emergency meetings like Nexon did begging people to come back and not use private servers, honestly I don't see that day too far off for you guys. But wait, I guess you guys would rather have meetings on switching some of your games to hybrid so you can grab money up front and never have to deal with customer service issues right? Also if any other Aeria or former Aeria employees/players/ free labor want to psost here, I would love to see this keep going. Busting this guy's chops always turns my frown upside down'

All I got out of that entire wall of text was: A above water version of a iceberg story You're only telling the masses what you want them to hear. So you made some comments or protested some injustice with AG over what a new PM said about you and got demoted from your free meal ticket. And so you say you walked away (with no ill-will) to be on your merry way.
Then out of the blue this guy cans a messiah of a GM (cause the community says so) for being a little too close to the community (without divulging into what exactly he did). And in order for us to actually believe that, we would either have to ask ourselves: Is the canned GM offering a candid version of his removal or are you filtering what you are hearing because of the previous chip on your shoulder. I have to know full disclosure of a few things before I jump on any bandwagon:
That GM was a PAID employee of AG and lost his job for something other than just because he was well liked. If being a GM is anything like being security personnel, then he would know that there is a fine line between customer support and fraternization. The first involves knowing your limits and sticking with them. And the other is knowing your limits and crossing the line from time to time to appear empathetic to your customers (whether to garner positive feedback for services rendered or buff up that image for top brass).
We don't know. But what I did take from your continuous bullish tactics is that YOU were capable of making lives of anyone who crossed you a living hell (by your own admission). I don't know if you used these tactics on the customers you served but I do know that they were there long before you became a GS and apparently well after. You know there is a old saying that I carry with me to remind myself of the ease of abusing my authority:
"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."~Abraham Lincoln
I believe that test came to you and instead of walking away, you got your friends involved and got them either fired, demoted or banned as well. You knew the game and you dealt the cards. But while most of us know that the house is one thing you never bet against, you thought you could take it simply from the speck of power they once gave you.......well played....

Meh I though LC was a piece of crap of a game anyway, prob be better if the game goes bye bye. But the stuff they pulled with people who worked/voulnteered for them is fairly unfair. |

Don't kid yourself. If it was dead then you'd let the thread die after your first post. I'm 100% not positive that you, as a volunteer worker conducted and handled the matter in the most appropriate and adult fasion... as your pictures of girls flipping the bird clearly show. The fact that you state you traded out your time and silence in exchange for in-game money says a lot about your character. The fact that you state that you were fine with all the exploiting of the community and the game, up until this guy personally pissed on your parade is sad. So to retaliate, you spam forums about your ordeal to win more sympathy. I'm sorry, I have none. "There is only one thing of which I am certain, and that's nothing is certain." |

You really need to remove that "Cloak of Righteous Indignation +5" it is a poor fit .

Before I respond, let me make something perfectly clear to Brian and his fake accounts: WE ARE NOT EVER GOING TO STOP spreading the truth about Aeria, no matter how many shills or alt accounts Aeria sends at us. You can cry and whine for us to stop all you want but it won't happen so deal with it. If you don't like what I have to say, don't read the thread. Its that simple. And you better get used to it because we will be posted this on hundreds of game sites. ;) To sum things up for everyone who obviously didn't read through my entire original post. * Aeria is corrupt and they lie to the players and its not just a single person (me) saying that. Its a long list of former well-respected GameSages and high level players. * This isn't heresay. Its not one person's word against another because we have posted actual PROOF (sorry, the chatlogs and screenies don't lie, supes) of what Aeria does. Has Superman posted any kind of proof to defend Aeria? No and you won't see it because it doesn't exist. lol * They fired the one GM that was respected and loved by the community I can promise you that if you ask anyone in the LC community which GM they trusted, it would be Krash every single time. And while you're there, ask if anyone in the community would risk getting their accounts banned for any of the other GMs like they have for Krash. After they are done laughing at you, their response will be something like, "hell no." And if you ever talked to Krash privately, he would always tell you like it is. He wouldn't lie about things like Superman and Ksilent do.
Btw guys, Agrona is another former well-respected GameSage that quit because of Aeria's bs. One of a long list of us that left the GS program.
lol Good one, Brian. That made me laugh. No, you don't try to avoid Aeria related stuff Supes. You're always the first shill they send when someone badmouths Aeria somewhere. *rolls eyes* 1. What about saying things about the staff PRIVATELY IN GUILD CHAT? lol Fentanyl got banned for saying Ksilent is a tweed in our guild's private chat. Since when is that a bannable offense? And since when is emailing the link to our facebook group to some friends a bannable offense? Several of us have had our accounts banned and messages deleted from people's inbox for that. 2. I didn't have to tell the community to do anything. Most of us have made our own choices and the right ones. lol The claims of lying and corruption are a conspiracy?? lol I was waiting for you to play that card like you always do when people question Aeria about something. Okay if this is all just a conspiracy and not true, then you wouldn't mind giving straight answers about a few things would you? * Are you denying Krash was fired? Superman's Predicted Response: I'm sorry, we can't talk about former employees. * Are you denying Stratos was hacked? You guys tried to cover it up by LYING about it but we posted the chat long of a GM admitting it happened. lol Talk about self-ownage... Superman's Response: I'm sorry, we can't talk about current employees. * Are you denying all of the claims that guilds have used exploits at DCS and nothing has been done about it? Remember the whole uproar over a guild using exploits at DCS on C server? They posted screenshots AND videos of it clearly happening. I was even there with an alt character the following week to see it myself and TOLD you guys about it. Yet again, nothing happens. And there have been countless videos posted on the report behavior forum of people exploiting and hacking, yet nothing happened whenever it was a big AP buyer. Heck, there was a video of Divinity exploiting at DCS posted by bubba and it was clear what was going on. AGAIN, nothing was done. If this is all just a conspiracy then please explain away these facts. I know the community would LOVE to see an explanation. Superman's Response: I'm sorry, we can't talk about exploits. * Are you denying that GMs know about certain AP buyers account sharing and do nothing about it? Because there is a rather public example of Ksilent KNOWING about it on the forum right now. lol Superman's Response: I'm sorry, we can't talk about account issues. Carefully watch superman's responses and you'll figure out which one of us is lying: the community or him. ;)
Wow, like I said, you guys are responding without even reading what I say. Like i've said TWICE now, I never kept any secrets myself. Even Superman will probably tell you that I have always publicly held AGE accountable when they do something wrong. I had plenty of public arguments with Superman and the others when they did something wrong. I never covered up anything for them, I spoke the truth even when they didn't want to hear it. Go ask the LC community about me.
lol Yeah, anyone who knows Brian, expected his to get involved. I bet his next move will be to tell the remaining GSes to come on here and bash us. lol And you're absolutely right. Since some people seem to think its just me against Aeria, I think its time to get other former GSes and players to speak for themselves. Don't worry, no matter what happens we won't let this die down. I look forward to debating Supes many times on another forums. lol |

This thread is going absolutely nowhere now. Everything here is turning into a "he said she said" argument. To be perfectly honest, I won't be surprised if this thread gets locked soon, you've got something of a witch hunt started now. So all I have to say is, quit sounding like a fanatic and get on with your life.
