- Okay, first things first. Graphics and Sound are obviously very outdated. Since DE is an oldschool 2D MMO. DarkEden is purely centred around PvP. So if you like OldSchool PvP focused 2D MMOs, this is definitely for you. One thing that I find really cool, is the story. Unlike WoW, DE actually makes you feel like PART of the story, not an outcast. What happens, and how that story unfolds is totally up to the players. If you enjoyed the Legend of Mir, Myth of Soma, Ultima Online days, you should love this. Ah, and about the hacking issue, now Joymax have the game, hacks are none-existent. Every tuesday they do a ban phase, and a 'name-and-shame' along with the maintenence. (PS. Some of the info on this site is wrong, Developer is Softon, and its hosted by joymax, for instance.)

- well i only played this for 30 minits, due to hacks making the server lag, but apart from the hackers the game reminded me of D2 which is cool, they have restarted the server now so no hackers will be on :)

- Great game, good potenital. But the hackers go to it.

Joymax has announced that Darkeden, their vampire-themed MMORPG, has launched and is now available for everyone free to play.

DarkEden Online has added a new race to their open-beta horror game. The Chakrams are half vampire and half human.
