9Dragons has now entered its live status with GamesCampus. GamesCampus recently took over control of the MMO from GamersFirst.

According to the press release, GamesCampus will honor all player accounts in good standing, including levels, and items if players "opt in" before September 15th. The official relaunch under the GamesCampus umbrella will occur on September 20th.
Reported on Aug 19, 2011GamersFirst has announced that it has reclaimed the data formerly contained on the 9Dragons servers once owned by Acclaim. Players who played 9Dragons prior to Acclaim shutting down servers in August will be able to reclaim their characters on the new GamersFirst servers.

As originally reported, the transition from Acclaim's publication of the game to GamersFirst was to take place in September and was to be a seamless move to transfer all characters to the new servers. The move seems to be an obvious tantrum on Acclaim's part for inexplicable reasons. To that end, GamersFirst is encouraging players to take digital inventory, screenshots and more.
