Codemasters has announced that Archlord has reached the half million mark with its 500,000th player.
Codemasters Online is pleased to announce they have opened the doors to their 500,000th player of its popular subscription-free MMORPG, ArchLord.
Since moving to free-to-play, ArchLord has seen explosive new player growth over recent months with more players than ever taking on the challenge to compete to become the all-conquering ArchLord and with it rule the entire game world.

Couldnt agree more, Its really too under rated, players should try it before reading reviews.
I wonder if they are counting active (within recent time, maybe 3 months?) accounts? I started an account when it went free, played it for a month then had to give it up. My issue was way to much rubber banding because of server lag. That was way before they hit 500k also, so hopefully they've fixed this issue by now. Anyways, the game is good and free, but you have to be into it to really want to stick to it and play a main avatar.
underrated....i played and it sucked...so many bugs...and killing cubes with swords is not my idea of fun
I hate loosing xp when killed by mobs.
