I've read a lot of stuff about archlord, and i heard that after time you have to pay. Is this true?

Archlord is free to play but if you want to pvp and try to become the said archlord your looking at buying from there in game item shop.

The game began life as pay to play but soon after release became free to play, if your lucky enough to find one of the old pay to play boxed sets cheaply you can use the activation code in the box to get a brave bit of cash shop currency....i did

premium items are payable to have. it has an over all advantage throughout the game but u can survive without them.

Pretty much correct, though not about being the archlord and not - if you want to get levels past 40-50 you would want to use chantra. I use chantra from lvl 1 on all chars, it is so much better, and you have no chance competing in PvP or PvE with anyone if you are not using cc.

Its quite an expensive game to be honest..but good :)
