I'm curious. Just how popular is Archlord in other parts of the world. The english version only came out a year or so ago but not sure how long it was around when it originally came out in Korea. How popular is it in general? Is it near Lineage levels or a niche game?

Ever since it went free to play, there has been an influx of players. Thus, the opening of the new server evengarda. All three servers are at least at medium capacity, almost all the time, and high during certain hours. I'm playing at 4 am right now and the Brumhart server is at medium. Don't know what the server capacity is, but i definately always see lots of people on, in the towns and out hunting.

It's become a lot more popular since it became f2p, but I wouldn't call it the most successful game. It had a rocky start, as when the game was released, the whole Archlord quest wasn't even implemented into the game yet, which created a lot of angry consumers. Plus the lag was horrible and controls were extremely buggy. I haven't played in a few months, but I hope for your sake that you will have a better experience with this game than I did.

It's still crap. I played it in beta and was stupid enough to buy the game. Alot of the old players are quitting because CM don't know how to run the game. It's a bad game to begin with and when CM don't do their job it's laughable at best.

I'd say its doing pretty good but then again its also utterly ruined now.

First of all lag is so horrible, servers going up and down by will , your loosing your items you have grinded in your inventory, you have chantra items that dissapear and your chantra credits that go missing as well.

good luck.

This game is doing very good now that it is completly Free To Play. I played duing Beta and quit because I felt that it was a good game but not worth spending $15 montly to play. I came back after the game went Free To Play after a retail purchase of the game. I played the game for a couple of months then and loved it but quit again when everybody started leaving after Codemasters kept pushing back the release of Episode 2. This game should have released like it is now, free to play with cash shop. I have never seen an MMO thats Pay To Play and has a Cash Shop and this is what Codemasters tried to pull off which did not work. If they had launched the game totally Free To Play with Cash Shop from the start this would probaly be the most played MMO out there other then WoW. This game is so alive right now, much more then it ever was. People are everywhere you go hunting and doing quest and the game is growing very fast. I wont be suprised to see another server added soon.
