manaia36 writes: Well my experience of Minions of Mirth has been very pleasant so far. Yes the graphics are dated but they are not that bad and certainly not any worse than EQ 1. Character customization is very limited also. So far I have found the community to be very helpful and people are always willing to help those who are polite . I have had many questions answered by the people there, there is also a feature where you can /tell MoM wisdom and submit a question to the irc bot and it will send a reply back, for example if you wanted a location of an NPC you would say, /tell MoM Thurdan Faran? and it will display the approximate location. I first started off as a Thief but sadly they are very very hard to solo when your starting out, I changed to a warrior and I am getting a lot more enjoyment out of that. So far I have found plenty of quests to do and the rewards were nice with some good exp and coin. I haven't fully tried the crafting out yet, so I can't comment on that. but from what I seen it is there. Anyway I can't complain, I am playing the free version and really enjoying it. If you don't mind the dated graphics and give the game a chance, you might be pleasantly surprised like I was. Wed Oct 17 2007 7:16PM

brihtwulf writes: I don't get what people see in this game. The graphics/sound are horrible. It's hard to find quests. The gameplay mechanics are old and basic. There really doesn't seem to be much to keep anyone here, other than it's free after you buy it. It's much like EQ1, only you don't have to memorize spells when you die... And the animations are worse than... Well, the only thing I can think of that's close is possibly King's Quest games from the early 90's... Sun Sep 23 2007 3:16PM
