A Tale in the Desert News - The Test of Windsong

This week, eGenesis unveils a unique new challenge for aspiring musicians in its tradeskill-oriented MMORPG "A Tale in the Desert".

Followers of the discipline of Art and Music are now able to build elaborate acoustic laboratories, in which an extensive range of musical wind chimes can be fashioned.

The completed chimes can be installed on ornamental "Chime Tower" buildings.

A fully-featured multi-track sequencer interface then allows the owner of the Chime Tower to create original musical compositions using the assembled chimes.

Visitors to a Chime Tower are invited to cast votes on the finished musical sequence, and each week the composers of the most popular arrangements will be elevated towards the coveted rank of "Oracle of Art and Music".

The "Test of Windsong" is the most recent of seven challenges faced by followers of the discipline of Art and Music. Other challenges include the design of advanced pyrotechnics, the creation of impressive sculptures, and the construction of beautiful ornamental flower gardens.
