MMORPG.com's Carolyn Koh had the chance recently to explore the Tomb of the Qin-Shi Emperor, a dungeon that's a part of the game's high level expansion, Legend IV.

Silkroad Online is based on the historical trade network across the Asian continent. Set mainly in China and spanning mainly East and West from Louyang to Constantinople. Doing some quick reading, install and patch, I was taken for a spin in Silkroad Online's latest expansion, Legend IV: Tomb of the Qin-Shi Emperor.
Legend IV is a high-level expansion with the Tomb of the Qin-Shi Emperor meant for players level 70 and above that launched on March 17, 2009. This expansion also increases the maximum character level to 100 with accompanying skills, new quests and quests updates for Roc Mountain. A new armor set, the 10th degree armor set, as well as a new outfit available in the online store. A new Scenario Quest system also debuted at the same time, giving players cinematic cut scenes to enjoy.
i reallly like this game over the years.... but now sadly its so hardcore botted that no one can ever logg in...if it wasnt so jacked by bots id be happy to play this game again
Silkroad Online has a lot of potential to be among the best MMORPGs out there. Unfortunately, due to the free-to-play aspect of the game, botters can easily overrun the servers and preventing real players from enjoying the game fully. I wouldn't mind if SRO went pay-to-play and offered free trials, as restrictions can be put on the free trials to prevent botters from doing their thing. (I myself stopped playing ages ago because of the bots.) However, despite potentially creating a much better gaming environment, too many gamers prefer to endure the bots rather than accept pay-to-play in favor of not paying at all. :(
If Joymax were to offer pay-to-play servers, I'd definitely come back to the game.
