How popular is this game? Does it have a big population, or is it just a well known game?

Does this game have potentials?

Does this game keep you interested even after grinding? Ex. Maplestory does a pretty good job for just grinding.

Thank you but last but not least

Whats with this!?

There is 2 goonzu being served right now, is Goonzu planning to move into ijji? or something?

Thanks for answering my questions

GoonZu global appears to be the official English server, and I do think they plan on merging with Ijji. GoonZu doesn't even have it's own Wikipedia Article yet, the closest page is Ijji's.

As for keeping you interested after grinding, I believe so, yes. As the entire economy and market is completely player-driven, it's somewhat necessary to choose a secondary occupation to being a fighter/archer/gunner/whatever if you want to be able to afford the newest equipment, gear and luxury's.

As for the Jobs, think Runescape but better. There's farming for food production, crafters of both armor and weapons, Pharmacists for medicine, Fishermen, Chef's, etc. You can choose to specialize in one or branch out in multiple directions. Though like any game branching out is only helpful if you plan on going solo alot.

I'll do a full review sometime when I'm higher than level 25, but I hope I've answered your questions.

I have a question too... when you put on a piece of armor do you change appearence and are there multiple levels of items such as, normal, rare, unique, legendary or something to that nature?

I am inclined to believe that the same creator that gave use reason would not scorn us for it''s use.

You do change the way you avatar looks when you change equipment, and as  for the multiple levels  within the same weapon,  yea there different grades to them.

This game definately may not be as popular as others, but I'd say that the community is a perfect size (not too few people...but you'll definately run) into almost everyone in the server at some point.

I'd say the game is worth a try because of its community aspect, such as joining towns or guilds which makes the tedious grinding at some points more fun. I played this game for more than half a year and I didn't mind the grinding because there was always someone to talk to.

If you're going to play on the official server, just a warning that there are some corrupt players on there (as with any game that has an itemmall I guess) so just watch yourself and the people you ally with. I had to deal with someone that spent nearly 6k Euro just to buy up the town i was residing in, which ended up forcing many people, including me, to quit. Just a quick warning

And as for the two servers (global and ijji) global isn't moving/being sold to ijji. Ijji just has the rights to run their own server of the game.

GoonZu is fun, Lots of people on at once, farming, crafting, cute graphics, free, player drivin economy, you never truely get bored, there is some grinding but not to bad.

Hmmm wonder if that person you're referring to is Milo heh. Goonzu is a decent economic base game. Although, what made me quit was when they switched versions and removed all our old summons. My poor lvl 120+ death messenger went bye bye. Seems the game has gotten a bit of improvements since the last time I looked it over. Farming actually works now! Anyways,  this game is very strong with its auction house. If you can play it right and control the market you can easily have enough money to start a decent crafter. Wonder if they still have that fun little puzzle game whenever you craft something?

I'm playing Goonzu nowdays, and I can say it runs almost on every machine. The game is fun, you can play a lot of different styles of games in it. It's one of those rare games that are simple to play, yet have enough deepth that makes them interesting to master.

Besides the player based economy there's also the social/political player driven system, with the position of Goonzu or Goonzu ministers of the game open to anyone that can have a successful run for them.

To answer one question, yes, the minigame is still there, some play it, some don't, I simply love it.
