The game was decent when it was hosted by CodeMasters and you had to pay subscription. Under CM when it was F2P it became less interesting and now that the developwer is hosting it (CCR - Korean company) it's aweful. The whole world is on the server, so prepare for lots of nice characters in chat, and the server is physically in Korea, so be sure to die a lot because of lag :( Pages from Sages

Anyhow, I'll probably come to have a look, but I was a lvl50 specialist on the CM version (RMAU was soooo nice =), and I'm not sure I'll make another HL character... lvl41 Striker on the second server, but i didn't played this one a lot... Maybe it could be nice to play as a summoner... I'm french, that's why I sometimes mis-use or mis-spell some words... Please don't blame me. (but feel free to explain my error if you want =) Need an Eve-Online trial invite? PM me your email adress =)

I want to play, but all the downloads are so messed up... You can't download the full_installer, except on IE, and average DL speed is... 20ko/s... You can download the RAR installer, but when you try to unrar, you always got the traditionnal "the file is corrupted" message... I'm trying the direct link I managed to find by looking in the dephts of the official "forum" (if you can call that a forum?)... Anyhow, I'll have to DL countless patch if I manage to have a working client... ==> more than 3 days for playing a game? CCR is laughing at us...? If it doesn't work, i'll probably try some unofficial servers, at least ther will be less problems... I'm french, that's why I sometimes mis-use or mis-spell some words... Please don't blame me. Its a real shame your having so many problems Lysarion , i normaly download the full EXE version from the main site with Firefox Browser and it seems to work ok , the patching does take a while since theres so much to update , hope you get this sorted mate. Hope to see you on the server , let me know what side you decide to pick.

Seriously, new server, same lag, someone above posted the servers are in China. Now I actually believe it.. x.x it's shame.. and it seems such a nice game..

Its a massive shame really... the servers have really been playing up in the past few days... and there based in Korea.... some times i would DC like 5 times in 10mins... they should really sort this out or people will leave , im trying not to pull my hair out.
