First of all have for some people they really haven't noticed economy. People say Dofus is a horrible game compared to WoW and those other games. Well I guess there not noticing but WoW charges twice. To buy and play the game. While Dofus in the other hand is free until you want to explore more. If Ankama really thought that Dofus was great they would charge higher.But it isn't. So for the price people are playing to play dofus I think it is a great game.Of course WoW is to but it charges alot more because it was a big hit. |

Hmm. Sorry to bump this thread , But I have something to add. The area in dofus that is f2p is miniscule when you look at the world map. The econemy is good, because it is cheap. WoW has more players, so higher demand for better servers that cost more money, WoW also happens to advertise in overseas countries, where ankama games only avertise dofus in France. Ankama also has other games that cost money to play, So they have other sources of income. Not sure about WoW, but ankama games does have its own store, full with things from plush toys to workbooks of amazing artwork Good day :D |
