jinxit writes: Beautiful game, very different, awesome character creation and progression, amazing combat system and possibly the worst ever server setup in the history of mmo's Wed Nov 26 2008 3:31PM
demonic87 writes: I fail to see the awesome combat system from experience. Wed Nov 26 2008 3:32PM
riceface2008 writes: really? demonic87 u fail to see that its not auto attack? that its real time? u fail at life Wed Nov 26 2008 4:02PM
LittleBlue writes: Im not sure about this game yet the combat system is fun but not that special ater 3 months. Wed Nov 26 2008 4:35PM

daeandor writes: The game is worth trying for the F2P portion for anyone even slightly interested. Form your own decision. I suspect you will love much about TCoS, but hate that it either: 1. focuses too hard on quests (quest themepart to max level) 2. doesn't play smooth on your system 3. requires you to think too much 4. you chose the wrong class. Seriously, on that last one, if you don't choose a spellcaster as your first archtype (ever) in game, you will get frustrated (IMO). Wed Nov 26 2008 9:28PM
BogSvarog writes: It is trying to show all these new things the game has, but what are they? If this is trying to sell the game, it is fail. Thu Nov 27 2008 12:14AM
Tibbz writes: errr??? lol I am fairly dissapointed in this promotional video. FIRE YOUR ADVERTISING TEAM Thu Nov 27 2008 12:42AM
Snipan writes: This game looks beautiful, but this video says nothing to those who are not already familiar with the game. Its just like some random fantasy. No story, no understanding for what this game is about, nothing. Thu Nov 27 2008 1:57AM
Nowonder writes: Yes that was pretty cheap.... Thu Nov 27 2008 6:48AM
Torak writes: Based on that movie, looks like two dozen other fantasy grinders. Not a very good "promotional" video. They put the tag on from "tentonhammer" about it being "most innovative" but didn't show HOW. Thu Nov 27 2008 7:22AM
alexs89 writes: poor advertising.rly lame.they could have found something more intriguing.in a mmo,i always take a look at the classes and their skill trees and mainly at the combat system.this vid shows none of the above. Thu Nov 27 2008 7:59AM
neo6 writes: did they not see the cinematics for warhammer online? some of the best animation i have ever seen, and they give us this? Thu Nov 27 2008 8:43AM
daylight01 writes: I am a bit suprised at this video. 1 of the biggest draws for the game was the combat and skill deck but we see either very little or none at all, another mistake they have made. just shows how much can and will go wrong in 2 weeks I guess. Thu Nov 27 2008 11:47AM
Cablespider writes: I'm not going to let a damn video stop me from playing. Bring it on because I can hardly wait. I'll reserve judgment then. Thu Nov 27 2008 1:00PM
scotczech writes: same old samo, i will never buy a game without trying 1st again, thx VG, WAR, Thu Nov 27 2008 1:40PM
craynlon writes: i find it a beautifull rough diamond. to bad they gambeled away almost all sympathy that could have made them a sleeper hit like eve with their crappy distribution deal. Thu Nov 27 2008 3:36PM
craynlon writes: @neo6 actually i find war and wows cgi trailers kind of marketing bullshit. they show you shiny graphics for 30sec and then expect you to pay for far inearior ingame graphics the next few years. Thu Nov 27 2008 3:40PM
Razephon writes: Man...this game went from a Triple A to like some low budget MMO. Thats a weak trailer. Almost as weak as Darkfall's latest trailer. Except this one is actually out and looks decent. ;) Thu Nov 27 2008 7:13PM

levsix writes: Too bad the in-game doesn't look this good, and there is virtually nothing revolutionary about it. Non-auto attack has been done already. Even DDO has non-auto attack. I was really looking forward to this one, I am sure it is a sheet stainer. Everyone who hasn't played it can go on and on about how neat and magical it is, it's the same old crap. Pick 20 potatoes and talk to Farmer Timmy, kill 10 boars, go find sammy the ogre. I guess try the free zone and decide for yourself. Fri Nov 28 2008 4:40AM
klapdoor writes: It is clear that you haven't played the game at all levsix, not only because the entire video does consists of in-game footage, also your comment regarding the combat system and the quests are off. I have played the game since the earliest possible beta (check http://www.tcos.com/sbforum/viewtopic.php?p=11324&sid=8552c3640a0363a5b2ca155cdb957fb5 before spewing other nonsense) and I say it is entirely worth it to check out. It does require a player without the standard MMO mentality though, otherwise you will be disappointed. Fri Nov 28 2008 5:27AM
Laserwolf writes: Looks like WoW+L2+Diablo. Fri Nov 28 2008 12:26PM
Mortemia writes: What's with the hoofs? They look really weird. Fri Nov 28 2008 3:17PM
vesavius writes: Oh dear... this is a launch trailer? I could have enjoyed it if had been just a taster movie from 6 months ago, but a launch trailer should be massive and enthralling. Despite all the hate AoC and WAR recieved, noone ever complained about their beautiful trailers... and look what they did to inspire sales. I will still try the trial of course, but those less open to this game then me won't be swayed by what they see here. C-, must do better. Sat Nov 29 2008 5:56AM
dmoney1 writes: how to download the game Sat Nov 29 2008 11:15AM
skuxx writes: Yeah the trailer, maybe a little bit too european;). But I'm playing TCoS at the moment. Besides some little bugs, I really do like it. Love the special atmosphere with the amazing landscapes and the combat system. It needs some hours to get used to it, but at the end its something new and fresh! Sat Nov 29 2008 2:31PM
Delanor writes: I have played a character to level 37 in this game and I have to give a word of warning to those who want to try it out. The game is highly addictive and once you have played it beyond level 20 there is no going back to you previous addiction. Sat Nov 29 2008 6:48PM
Saurus930 writes: server setup sucks, but the game itself is pretty good me thinks. Find out yourself instead of listening to haters/fanbois Sun Nov 30 2008 5:52AM

Wizardry writes: I did not see enough of anything to make a fair comment. The little i saw of the combat,it looks decent enough for animation/speed wise, but like i said ,i saw very little in this video. Fri Dec 05 2008 10:43AM
exe626 writes: Watching this video and playing first hand, I can't find anything spectacular or unique. It's just another mmorpg. Though, I imagine if you're bored with what you're playing currently, you could switch to this. I still find it utterly gay. Sat Dec 06 2008 4:48PM
Talemire writes: Darkfall will be much, much better. Sun Dec 07 2008 1:46AM

LynxJSA writes: Anxiously awaiting the NA release of the game. I found it a refreshing change in both style and gameplay, even though it is still the level-based class-restricted system of most mainstream MMOs. Sun Dec 07 2008 7:21PM
Gremrod writes: The thing about the video does not show the end view the combat system and how different it is from all other mmo games out right now. You do not have the traditional roles like a main tank, main healer etc. You need to watch video of the in game combat.... Thu Dec 11 2008 3:50PM
Zippsn writes: A very good game. Animation are smooth and the feeling in the world are great. It makes a lot of fun,.. trying the trial is no mistake ;-) Fri Dec 12 2008 6:41AM
