The Chronicles of Spellborn will indeed feature a starter area. All new characters will start in the area surrounding Hawksmouth on the Parliament Shard. The available content and quests in this area will specifically be designed for new players. This ‘nebie’ area is part of the persistant world meaning that players will be able to travel to this area after completing their initial introduction. Unlike some other MMORPGs we didn’t’ want to separate this area from the rest of the game world. This way higher level players will be able to interact and help new players that join The Chronicles of Spellborn.
