Ok so I have had this problem, i have tried re-downloading and re-installing TCOS like 20 times. It Installs fine up to about 70% then it says that i failed to copy effects/sfx/foley.sbs, If i click retry then it is stuck on that forever. So i press ignore, then another one comes up for something else, I click ignore as well, now it is stuck on effects/sfx_footsteps.sbs.

I really don't know what else to do...any suggestions?

Well, just now i was able to ignore the sfx_footsteps problem, yet it is now stuck on the next extraction file.

I'm hoping I'm not the only one with these problems.

i had the exact same problem. even on the official forums, no one seems to know why this is happening. i gave up on the download. good luck, and if u find something out, lemme know :)

I just looked at another post with lots of people having the same problem and there doesn't seem to be a solution for it atm.

You have two choices now:

1. Wait for the fix

2. Buy the game it only costs about $5

 Step 1: ) Attempt to install as normal

Step 2: ) Once you hit the error, leave the error open and don't press anything. Open up your C:\program files\TCOS folder and copy/paste everything to a new folder on your desktop

Step 3: ) Cancel the installation

Step 4: ) Cut/Paste the files from your new desktop folder back into your C:\Program files\TCOS folder

Step 5: ) Run sb_patch

ahh Doh was not even thinking about the cd, :P

Now i cant put the bin file working, i now where it is bit my pc says the bin field isnt in the download folder. But it is
