Flyff News - Second Open Beta Test

Fly For Fun in the first flying MMORPG in the World

San Jose — October 26, 2005 — Today Gala-Net announces the open beta test for its newest game to their Gpotato Gaming Portal; Flyff. Flyff is the first ever flying MMORPG in the world and it is prepared to bring hours of excitement to the millions of MMORPG fans. While the download is available November 2, 2005 at 12:01 AM, the open beta, begins on November 3, 2005 and is free to all who log on to flyff.gpotato.com and download the game. Gala-Net Inc. invites you to be one of the first to download the game before the actual open beta test date.

What is the benefit to being the first to download the Flyff game? Well, we have two reasons for you.

  1. Rumor has it that there is going to be an event that will begin on the live launch day that enters anyone to reach level 50 by December 3, 2005 into a random drawing where five (5) “Flyffers” will win one (1) of five (5) iPod Shuffles. In addition to the iPod Shuffles, everyone to reach level 50 will also be automatically entered into a random drawing for a PSP!
  2. Fancy yourself an artist? Think you are the best designer in the world? Here’s your chance to show it! Power up your favorite art program, show your Photoshop skills or your free hand… (You don’t really use pencils right?) and dress your Flyff characters in your favorite costume; then enter the Flyff Halloween Costume Contest. Everyone who enters will automatically win 5 Gpotato dollars towards future Flyff pay-per-item purchases. 1 lucky winner for each category will also win the follow prizes:
    • The winner of the Best Costume category will be awarded with a Digital Camera.
    • The winners of the Funniest Costume and the Coolest Costume will be awarded a 1GB iPod Shuffle.

So you see, taking your time means while others are playing the game and on their way to winning an Ipod or PSP, you will be downloading and watching others take flight…!

In the first open beta, Flyff players came in masses. Now at its second beta testing and the relocation of its game servers from Korea to the USA, the anticipation of the new improved true fantasy world awaits the more than 100,000 users that flooded the skies during the first beta test.

In the time during the closing of the first beta test and the start of the second beta test, the Gala-Net team worked diligently to give the Flyff website a facelift. The new Flyff website offers a cleaner design and better graphics as well as easy navigation. It brings with it a stronger more experienced community that created a true spectacle when thousands of “Flyffers” took to the sky; and this is just the beginning!
