After playing flyff for 30 minutess, i made up my mind that it was not suitable for my age. Look at the graphics, the players and monsters. They are all geared towards being appealing to the eyes for young children. What do you guys/gals think?

Flyff was the last f2p MMO I played, from then on I realized... f2p games aren't worth my time (hmm, i sound like a snob). It wasn't too bad, and the way skills level is something I've only seen here. Anyway, judging from your 2 posts (that AO was also yours I think), you shouldn't be playing f2p MMO's neither. I'd recommend either GW or LotRO because you want good graphics. The players are quite pathetic in GW lately... But still, those 2 games are the only ones to satisfy me.

Yeah that was me. Hmmm...i think that f2p games are just not worth my time. Maybe trying out WoW

Good luck finding the difference between WoW and Flyff. ;) Graphics are the same, players are even worse in WoW, can't say anything about gameplay though, never thoroughly played WoW.

Got sick of WoW in 20 minutes I played flyff when i was 10 in '05 playe for half a year and jsut stopped MMO's for a while.Yea agreed the graphic in WoW and flyff are teh same flyffs communtiy is horrible too

I thought flyff was okay. I quit because of the graphics, not because I thought they were too kiddy, but because it made my computer lag an insane amount.

What an interesting and unique opinion ^^ what would you consider kiddy graphics?

Graphics aren't everything, unless they're like Runescape, then thats a problem. If you think graphics are everything, then why the hell did you even bother trying it out? I mean, you must've looked at some screenshots or videos of it before playing.

I think you missed the point (if you were referring to bloodyrose's post). He/she said they quit because of the insane amount of lag, and I'd have to agree. I run a pretty nice, mid-range gaming rig (I can play EQ2 just about flawlessly) yet, for some reason, flyff lags more than any game I've ever played. It's ridiculous.

As for the graphics of the game, I actually enjoyed the style. It kind of put you in a good mood, plus I'm a big cartoon fanatic. I would have gave the game more of a chance if I could have played it without insane lag.

it was actually okay until i reached this huge grind with no skill resets, so i quit

the graphics are reasonable though as if it was any more in depth, then flying would be very laggy

i havn't really got to the flying part...but doesn't sound interesting to me...=.=

Played it for two minutes before I felt my sanity slipping and uninstalled it, it was a close call I can tell you...phew!

Definitely for kids!

If you want to fly, try a winged elf in Perfect World, a much safer game to play.

yeah the graphics are a little "candy coated" and the game is a huge grindfest.  I never even got into the whole gimmick of Flying because i got so bored grinding

I liked Flyff.

While the graphics could be called "kiddy" it was at least  a change from the standard elf, dwarf, human toons.   All toons look like cute cartoon characters.  I did get the impression that it would appeal to young children.

I quit when the game became a grind at higher levels.  I still had hours for fun before that happened and the game is free to play.

homepage looks nice. hope it turns out well
