I guess they're really hurting for newcomers to join their guilds.

I didn't have a good experience, and quit the first day. Also, don't expect any support from Red Bedlam. I tried contacting their main support email, even through the inquiry form, they haven't even replied to anything I've asked them. I sent them courteous emails, and only 3 of them within a couple days. And that was a couple weeks ago, still nothing from them.

The idea behind the game had always intrigued me, and I had put off trying it so many times before. So, now that I finally got to play RV, it turned out to be a sour experience. Be sure you know what you're getting into before you try this, I read that the Trial Islands are coming soon. I'd just wait for that, and save your money for now. Tue Jun 23 2009 6:58PM

Coins writes: Currently, although the game is missing a few key features and perfected graphics, it is full of features that every other game out there is lacking, and performance has improved since most of these player ratings were done. Still, newcomers should expect to face an uphill challenge. There is a lot of inter-dependence in RV. Examples being the rise of guilds to almost faction-like roles and the need for most newcomers to request skipping the attending tasks. This game is unique in that it is constantly unfolding.
