For the most part I really enjoyed this game. I might still be playing it were it not for the constant zoning required to move about the game world. The dreaded artificial zone barrier was also prevalent (e.g. "invisible wall") In this game. I really enjoyed the Gnome character model and the "monk" fighting style. I'm still waiting for my "perfect game".

Now if only they could get their engine to not be such a pig =) Phenom II @ 3.8GHz and can't break 10fps during raids.
That and Odus? Really? Kunark was a hit... Velious should have been next if they wanted to build momentum. But first they fail to grab nostalgia people with TSO and now SF.
Ah well guess I'll be playing AoC and LotRO this winter.

sir, pandas are a product, blizzard owns the copyrights for the DNA. the game looks way to sterile.

No kidding. Wtf were they thinking with Odus. Velious absolutely should have been the next expansion and they were idiots for not chosing it. Now they have Odus and very dreary looking new zones.... I've played the game for years but I'm afraid this will be the death of eq2, barring a miracle.

No new playable classes or races, still? Cant see paying money for this expansion, or even why this still costs $14.99 a month.

Sony has really good trailers. Unfortunately the game sucks. When I quit they were well on the way to nerfing it to the point that a two year old randomly banging on the keyboard could level up to 80 in about two weeks. I have nothing against Sony personally and I mean that. It's just that all their games lack heart, soul and storyline. They are directionless hack and slashers. Sony has aimed this game squarely down the center line of mediocrity to attract those who don't want any serious challenge to interfere with their ability to get the next cool piece of equipment.

Props for showing what you actually see in the game.
Never liked EQ's hate/aggro system, but the game on a whole is massive and very good.IMO the game should have ended,a new player could never play all the content now,not even close to half the content, the game is just too big.

You can just see this game's dying budget. Look at those transitions with text and stuff, just looks so weak.
