Game: EverQuest II

EQ2 would be the perfect game for me if they had just had the guts to keep it social, group orientated, death penalised, co-dependent and what not. It's such a shame that it sold most of it's soul to become a WoW clone, without ever seeing any of the extra players that shoulda bought in... Oh well.

The game still lags on my computer to-date. There has to be something eally wrong with its programming...

What Vesavious said
As it is, EQ2 has no future, it has lost its identity

I agree with vesavius. EQII had a chance to distinguish itself. However SOE chose to dumb down it's game in a feeble attempt to draw WOW numbers.
Gotta stay true to your own formula.

STE2000, I have noticed you always posting negative crap about about EQ2. I cant take your posts seriously anymore. Even if the devs take strides to improve the game... You have a personal vendetta against this game.

Great update. EQ IS group oriented, and social. Its just that it rewards people for grouping and socializing rather then the old school of punishing people for not. I personally feel sorry for the people that feel a game has to have forced co-denpendency to get people to group with them.

EQ2 Loses your interest rather quickly while everyone tries to do their own thing, it ruins the community.

I have to agree that the game has become more and more of a chat room for non-gamers. The slow conversion to a micro-transaction model via LoN, etc. has left EQ2 as a without a soul. It simply is no longer a game...for me, anyway.

Guild halls look good. Seems like several nice enhancements have been made since I use to play.
