I've been playing EQ2 for 4 years now and still alot of content to discover. This is truly an excellent PVe game (if you are looking for PvP this is not your game).
Good and mature community, very good Customer service (on a few occasions I submitted a petition which was taken care of within a couple of hours, to my entire satisfaction). Game updates are performed on a regular basis. Graphically-wise this game is now ready for the current rigs on the market. When running on a 1 year old machine the graphics are truly amazing. On older machines you won't be able to play on very high settings though.
What keeps me playing is the true fantasy-RPG atmosphere; NPCs seem to have a personality and some quests are hilarious, voice-over is present for some of the bigger quests. Tons of dungeons (open or instanced). Very good crafting system where crafted items actually serve a purpose. This game is definitely worth a try if you haven't yet!

Best Graphics out there, best story, best community.. PVP sucks, but this was never meant to be a PVP game. Very very fun.. I keep finding my way back here.. Crafting is tedious but you still have to pay attention to it.

Good PVE game. Before joining this for pvp I suggest reading the Everquest forums. All signs point to a pve game. It was made originally with no pvp option, pvp was added just for giggles. Again this is a good PVE game, loads of content.
