I have played every mmo to date (more or less) and EQ2 by FAR is the best of these experiences that I have had for so many reasons. It's the game I always go back to and one I could care less if my friends are playing or not, I can have a blast in this game alone (in my opinion rare in an mmo) You will find it hard to run out of things to accomplish if you play this game correctly, I play on a PVP server, and I think the pvp in this game has probably the bet pvp mechanics out there group and balance wise. Customization is off the charts when it comes to your actual class and the graphics of this game are amazing for their time if you have the system to enjoy it with. Crafting is top notch, and you also dont have to worry about out lvling your friends, the mentor system is perfection. All the old zones are extremely active even with the massive amounts of content the expansions have brought to this game. Perfect advancement system , tons of "talent points" and trees for each class. FUN classes, the ability to betray to good or evil, or become an exile. There is a lot to this game, and once you get into the mechanics its all very addicting. Play and enjoy! Fri Oct 23 2009 1:09AM

Skuz writes: The game still needs some client side performance improvements but this is still one of the better games on the market, the deep crafting system is what kept me hooked but the client performance got to be a drag on my older PC. Sat Oct 10 2009 8:15AM

Silacoid writes: I played when EQ2 first came out. It was a slow boring grind where every item was the same with different names. The game has come a LONG way. It is a really great game now. If you tried it before and quit or if you have never tried EQ2 it is worth the time to test it out. Tue Sep 01 2009 3:34PM

Auron562 writes: good graphics, awsome and helpful in game community, tons of Role playing, Guild Halls FTW, always something to do hence the name "EverQuest" end game raiding kind of sucks though Wed Aug 12 2009 11:45PM
Yasou writes: I've been playing EQ2 for 4 years now and still alot of content to discover. This is truly an excellent PVe game (if you are looking for PvP this is not your game). Good and mature community, very good Customer service (on a few occasions I submitted a petition which was taken care of within a couple of hours, to my entire satisfaction). Game updates are performed on a regular basis. Graphically-wise this game is now ready for the current rigs on the market. When running on a 1 year old machine the graphics are truly amazing. On older machines you won't be able to play on very high settings though. What keeps me playing is the true fantasy-RPG atmosphere; NPCs seem to have a personality and some quests are hilarious, voice-over is present for some of the bigger quests. Tons of dungeons (open or instanced). Very good crafting system where crafted items actually serve a purpose. This game is definitely worth a try if you haven't yet! Mon Aug 10 2009 11:48AM
