I have played every mmo to date (more or less) and EQ2 by FAR is the best of these experiences that I have had for so many reasons. It's the game I always go back to and one I could care less if my friends are playing or not, I can have a blast in this game alone (in my opinion rare in an mmo) You will find it hard to run out of things to accomplish if you play this game correctly, I play on a PVP server, and I think the pvp in this game has probably the bet pvp mechanics out there group and balance wise. Customization is off the charts when it comes to your actual class and the graphics of this game are amazing for their time if you have the system to enjoy it with. Crafting is top notch, and you also dont have to worry about out lvling your friends, the mentor system is perfection. All the old zones are extremely active even with the massive amounts of content the expansions have brought to this game. Perfect advancement system , tons of "talent points" and trees for each class. FUN classes, the ability to betray to good or evil, or become an exile. Silacoid writes: I played when EQ2 first came out. It was a slow boring grind where every item was the same with different names. The game has come a LONG way. It is a really great game now.
