Smart thinking ive heard of people doing that . Well glad people still like the game anyhow , enjoy it it has alot to offer.

Great game i just dont like the direction its heading ..

I've only played since December. I rather like it so far. There's loads of content I haven't yet seen, so i am fairly excited about exploring everything. What drew me in was the Frostfell holiday event. I was playing WoW and was disappointed with their new version of Winter Veil. Everything seemed to depend on quests that required a great deal of time and travel for relatively nothing. I looked over and saw my husband opening gifts in the Frostfell area and then making furniture to decorate his house. When I watched him make a gingerbread wall, I decided to give EQ2 a second chance (I had played a free trial version years before but hadn't liked the graphics).

It's the little touches like the dungeon maker, the leveling system, and the abundance of holiday events that hold my interest. Those touches make my characters less like everyone elses in the game. I relish the individuality of EQ2. In WoW, everyone looks alike and has the same vanity items.

I like the holiday events in games also and to me, Frostfell is the best of them. So much variety and it truly feels like a celebration.

I have a hard time forking over the monthly fee, I can't beleive they actually get ppl to pay 20$ a pop for things like this.

I think I'm getting old, in my mind microtransactions are like 1 to 5$ a pop hehe oh well =)

It's so retarded, i don't even have words to describe it. Oh well, the game is obviously going to it's end, and it's not surprising.

SOE is really showing it's face, turning the once glorious EverQuest franchise, complex, deep, rewarding, involving, breathing world into a money grabbing, fluff filled, short term fun for kids.
