Just curious as most people are max level and probably don't want to do instances etc etc

I am interested in the PvP servers

Any pointers appreciated

Most of the world is zoned, not instanced.

And yes, a lot of people are above level 50.

There are plenty of people playing the game at all levels. Most just solo to 20. But I have 4 alts over 40 and never had a problem grouping, even at level 12 (try the caves in Qeynos and the Knoll cave in Antonica).

I don't know about the PvP server, but this game is designed to be a PvE game, so I would not expect too much from it (could be wrong).

My wife and I have played EQ II off and on for four years because it's the best grouping game out there. Mature community (at least on the Role Playing server) and of all the games we have played we have never found a MMO that is so easy to jump in a group (unless you play at odd hours).

This game is SONY's flagship MMO, and the population is very healthy.

Hope that helped a little.

The battles are no longer physical, its from within.

Yes it is. But make sure you have a 3Ghz CPU and at least 2GB Ram.

You can go a long way with a smile. You can go a lot farther with a smile and a gun.
Al Capone

I took up the 2 free month offer and Im quite impressed with this game. I did play the free trial but  for some reason I didnt play much cant remember why.  The community is great Ive already joined a guild and Ive only played 2 days.

Ive played pretty much every MMO out there and this one is fantastic, way better than WoW IMHO.  Yes you will need 2 gigs of ram if you want the game to look and run good. I need to do a computer upgrade.  Im running a 3ghz P4 a gig of ram and a x800gto and its kinda laggy sometimes on the balanced settings. I get around 19fps average.

its a good time to join atm, since loads of people have started anew because of the 2 month offer.

;EDIT;

the performence seems to vary depending on what hardware and/or software tweaks you have.

(I have a 1.8 Ghz core2duo with 2Go ram, and running the game with everything set on highest quality.)

Of course, I'm a programmmer so I changed a few things in Vista and the game's sourcecode....
