Is there a class that is strictly DPS?  That doesn't have to mess with crowd control, tanking or healing?

Mages, Necromancers at least.

That's all I've actually played, though I have a 37ish assassin somewhere.

At least, I just nuke the crap out of everything and hope for the best without regard to CC (which can be useful while soloing though not necessary since the last big changes my pet can two shot mobs my level)

would think assassin is still the class with the best DPS, but it is awhile ago Ive played, you could go to and check each class DPS parses as well, just dont read too much on that site, you may never install the game at all ;P

if you talk about playstyle, Id think wizard is the most straight out DPS
