Why is it so complicated, more so than anyother MMO. I'm level 11 and have never seen someone chat on the 10-19 channel yet, I kind of take it that it's local chat. I'll be Looking to make groups by tomarrow, as Crushbone seems to appear dead so far. I remember from my short say last year that the LFG option does not work so well. My major question is how do I join "World chat", no one seems to answer any of my questions, and no response when looking for a guild. Good game, good quest, and nice graphics. But I don't play MMO's by myself for very long ! |

level chats are global so they are usually best place to go to, but i found out that usually lvl 1-9 channel is a lot busier than the next few channels. later on teh level chat for your level gets more helpfull again. the lfg tool is quite usefull, but how usefull it really is depends on how many people it use. |

Complicated? Nothing complicated about it. I just find the level channels to be extremely distracting because they rarely ever stop moving, even when I'm trying to read stuff thats popping up in the window thats actually important. I turn the stupid channels off. If you want to chat, use /ooc but DO NOT advertise things to sell on that channel. There is an auction channel specifically created to sell stuff on AND there are brokers you can use. |

LOL A little info here... There are level chats which are named 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, etc. Everyone automatically joins the channel concurrent with their level as they level up. Some people close previous channels as they move up, some don't. These channels are viewed by everyone in that level spread and above in the game, regardless of zone, if they still have that channel. /ooc only talks to people in your zone. If you are in Greater Faydark, then everyone in gfay will see your /ooc regardless of level. |
