I recently stopped playing WoW and was looking at starting up another game. I played EQ2 when it was first released and i enjoyed it, but my computer then could not handle it. i got annoyed and went back to WoW. i was wondering what the game is like now. Im mainly interested in the PvP and endgame. |

Last time I played, low level PvP was a giant gank fest. When you're under 30 you WILL be killed by people who you have no chance of killing, because they're most likely going to outnumber you and/or are as twinked as possible. Once you get past the gank fest, it can be pretty enjoyable. The real fun starts when you get to the end game and get into full 24-man Raid v. Raid fights over contested raid mobs, it's priceless. PvE end game is pretty fun, but most of it is group or raid oriented (though the raids usually don't take as long as WoW raids). oh and PvP is likely to be fairly unbalanced, so solo pvping is not encouraged with some classes. And there's a real risk factor to PvP, something you won't get with WoW. |
