P.S. Understanding sportsmanship, and practicing such is a sign of maturity. Most adults understand that ganking doesnt make you a better player, it doesnt make you any friends, and it certainly in the end, will not fix the deeply rooted psychological problems. |

Originally posted by Arcken wow this is ridiculous, and maybe a sign of why EQ2 has only done as well as is has. if you choose to sign up for a PVP server (sorry i dont know how pvp is handled on EQ2) then people like this should EXCITE you. I wouldnt go out ganking lvl 1s for fun, but i sure as hell would enjoy helping fight to protect them or retaliate on the person/guild who is doing the ganking in some way. it adds excitement to the game. If OP wants to play this way, it is his money, and if the game mechanics allowed it then he has every right to do so. He will make a name for himself for sure, but that is just how he gets excitement. And if you are going to talk about maturity, you are way more immature to try to tell someone else how not to play a video game. |

Originally posted by fozzie22 So you've have a massive amount of experience in reading then? I clearly say i only played the trial and know nothing of EQ2 pvp....however....carebear mentality is universal. Read my other post troll, it is very simple. If OP wants to pvp in a way that is allowed by the game mechanics then he has every right to do so. Some people amaze me |

My point is very simple..why comment on a game you have little to no knowledge of? other than of course to troll the forums. |

again (try to follow along, i will try to be super clear for special needs) I know nothing about EQ2, but i know plenty about PVP in MMOs. I dont need to know anything about how EQ2 works. My reason for posting is a saw an OP (regardless of how i dont share his desires to gank lvl 1s) being flamed for asking a pretty simple question. Now you can disagree with how he wants to play the game, but if you are at all involved in pvp you should enjoy seeing his type on your server. But rather you carebears came to a thread about pvp and said "omg stay away from our "awsome" game you big meanie omg you must have social problems omg" cool? cool. edit: feel free to PM to continue this if you want fozzie (but im hoping you dont). we can continue to go back and forth forever but it wont go anywhere since i honestly dont have much respect for you nor you for me so lets not spam the forums thanks. |

Originally posted by originalegg What, are you five? We've clearly said that we don't want that kind of player in EQ2 and we don't. If he wants to do it elsewhere, fine, but we aren't going to support it in a more mature game.
Anyone else starting to feel like originalegg is just a friend of the OP that came in to back him up? |

Yes and this thread should of been closed a long time ago , i respect eq2 players for not wanted this kind of player in the game , i played 4 years myself. But it's sad when you see this kind of attitude from young kids these days imagine how they react in RL , their attitude wont be any different, only difference in that in a video game they can feel strong and big and much more courage because they can kill low level characters in a video game. my advice ignore this poor soul it already hopeless.
