When exactly is this supposed to come out?

This game is going to be like he growing number of MMOs that are FTP but with premium items for sale for cash.

I remember when FFXI was going to come out that EVERYONE was screaming and complaining that it was a sin people had to pay to play the game. But then games like Flyff, a free to play game, comes out and suddenly all those people who cried about having to pay a $13 monthly fee are suddnely spending $300 a month on a game that's free to play.

Wiki won't be any different. It'll be FTP with premium items for sale with cash.

I'm sorry. I don't know when it's coming out nor do I know very little about the game or its pricing scheme. It was just conjecture because the free-to-play business model seems to a direction an ever increasing number of MMOs are beginning to follow these days.

Well MU is free.. And whats from Webzen Global but SUN may go P2P so maybe PWIKI ALSO O_O Nooo

Damn if it has RMT and item shops for real money then I'm no longer interested, the more people support that crap the more they do it.....item shops are for fools.

well I hope its free but if  it isnt  ill cancel my runescape membership if i have to. If i have to i will do the free trial and possibly cancel my runescape membership.

So what your saying is you have no evidence....You have no proof that this will be like flyff or oither MMO's.  Your simply making an assumption that this will be like those other MMO's.  How about you actually find the truth before you make a guess like this?  Mabye it will just be a regular free game? 

Point is - if you have no proof, then why post and act like you know what your talking about, when you reaslly don't?

We do not need proof.  All a person needs is common sense.  This game has three choices when it comes to a business model.  It can either:

A: Charge a monthly fee

B: Go Free to Play with a Cash Shop

C: Go free to play with ingame advertising and optional low cost fee for advanced membership.

There are no other options.  The money to support the game must come from somewhere, and there are but two places it can come.  Players, or advertising.  Mind you....even advertising is not enough to pay for decent development, so even with the ad model they will need an optional sub cost to bring in the extra money to pay for devs.  In order to warrant paying even a low cost sub...those players must have access to something that free players do not.  Donations simply do not work as a business model on the level one needs for a blockbuster type game.

So pick your poison.  Its one of those three.  Money doesn't just fly outta the sky man, someone IS footing the bill.

i wouldn't have any problem paying for this game, as long as it's good. i'm not paying 15$ (about 12 euro's) for a game that sucks as much b*lls as most of the other f2p korean games.

but i loved the windwaker, and i'm going to give it a try, f2p or not.
