wow... UT with what looks to be a horid frame rate.

The more I see this game the more I appreciate SOE's Planetside.  This is nothing more then a giant UT deathmatch server from the looks of it.. Nothing more and possible a whole lot less..

And with the new UT comming out soon, why the hell would I want to play this?...

There better be a whole lot more that this game has to offer or it will fail horribly.

 i thought the exact same thing when i saw these new combat videos. its too soon to realy judge obviously,  but man i sure hope it has some depth and that persistent world feel with epic objectives that im looking for in a game.

the scariest thing for people like us who are praying for another mmofps similer to planetside, is if this game fails,, what else is there coming up? fallen earth? it looks interesting but from what ive read and the videos ive seen, it looks more like a sloppy hybrid game.

It's shameful... in the last 3 years it's like mmo designers all became dumb copycats and brainless zombies chewing on each other's remains. At first People could come up with interesting game mechanics, and were not afraid to try new solutions. Now everyone lost his imagination.

The craziest thing is that personally I loved Planetside but then hated it because It was pretty pointless.

But now after seeing and playing a bunch of the latest mmos I see how ingenious was compared to them.

And all happened after the coming of WoW and the blooming of a mmo-market. Everyone just lost their minds.

Im looking forward to this game specially after that vid...the combat looks great and thats step 1 to making a good mmo.

I can see your concerns about it being a deathmatch game but we dont know anything other than that is a video of combat. That could be an arena or just a deathmatch map. They said they had pve and your char gains skills so I assume there is alot more to it.(granted i would rather fight over guild controlled land, but i cant be picky with the 4 mmo fps out.) I agree that planetside lost all depth and made it a fun pointless ffa but it was still fun.

Fallen earth looks horrible ill try it but i have 0 hopes for that game.

I expected nothing out of people who die after 1 week straight of Starcraft.

Why in the world would you pay to play another Planetside or WarRock for that matter ???! That combined with a staple Korean - "You grind longtime!" motto ...

And ffs it's only a closed beta - they run it to test just a few basic things, not for ppl to be able to experience the whole game.... chill out.

for the guys talking about grafix..
consider that for the beta the lowered the minimun specs from 8600 cards to 5600 or sumthing..
also not everyone can run full res with fraps or whatever on
