Will huxley be f2p for pc?

if there is a god it wont be, but i dont think its announced yett.

There is a good chance since ijji.com doesnt have any p2p games and it will be on xbox360 also.

Being f2p does not make a game bad, look at guild wars.

Only the single player will be Free to Play. The online part will be a Micro payment system if I remember right.

if you think guild wars is good and free you are way off.

all the expansions arent free. and gameplay is awefull

Lineage2 has expansions every few months and those are "free"

I meant quality wise....Also you arent forced to buy expansion right?

Anyways i just threw that out as an example since its free and high quality, Americas army is another one cept it isnt a mmo, battlefield heroes then or hellgate? Everyones opinion of "good gameplay" is different personally youd have to pay me to grind in l2. ( I do like the castle seige idea and pvp aspect though, but its not worth the grind go l2walker!)

All p2p games should give free expansions, or lower the monthly price since the game would be old by then.

you are forced to buy the expansion if you want to play with others. how many play JUST the basic wow nowadays..?

i know what u meant but i have to this day yett to se a F2P game worth spending time in. and F2P is Free not buy the game and if u want to play with others buy the 5 expansions for just 89.99$

I don't know...i would say that Requiem is a VERY good F2P game, i mean sure, it stole from WoW-s mechanics with tons, but wich new MMO doesn't... (and for a lot of people stealing from WoW isn't necesarily a bad thing, it's way better than the ordinary Korean clickfes grinder like Silkroad for example) Maybe Huxley will be a good F2P too, who knows?  I personally hope so, although it will be better if it's P2P cuz than you don't have to buy stuff from malls, pay for expirience boosts and stuff like that that just ruins the immersion.

Well theres alot of different of revenue models, but you'd have to buy alot of micro transactions or expansions to match the $180 a year in subscription, and some still charge for the game and expansions.

The thing I actually like about non subscription games is, that im not locked down. I go play "gunz" , "combat arms", "soldier front", "fear", "americas army", with anyone i know at any time. I dont have to convince them to buy the game or to sub up. I know that none are true mmo's, but give it time they will come. I think endless ages is the only true persistant world mmofps that is f2p.

I will probably buy huxley no matter what, but it would be alot easier to get all my friends to play if there is no subscription.

Try Sword of the new world, it's in the game list, it's free to play, Prefect world is also a F2P, nice graphic's, up to you really to go thru the game list, theres quite a few to chose from.

Really those F2P have nothing to compare with the Huxley graphics, you can't be honest if you say so  

Thus Huxley is made with the unreal engine 3 and I know no game which is free using such a good engine.

There is no point to think it will be free :  it will not because of financial purposes. Look at the developpment : real groups for real music (no electronic), real 3D mapping with real architectural buildings as pattern, next gen Directx10 effects and so on...

This game will definetely not be free, I can bet with anyone

Guild wars gameplay is aweful? We really hear too much crap on these forums, really amazing.

This game could very well be f2p with a shop that has different weps, skins accesories...

As long as the shop doesnt have any items that are reall essential like xp gain boosters and stuff.
