if you have never played this game i urge you to stay as far away from this stupid game as you can
1) its a nooby fishing game thats all you can do to earn money and let me tell you the most you get for a fish is 30g there are special fish what give more but are rare and hard to catch oh yeah to catch fish what get you 30gp you will need around level 35 and that will take you more than 2 months to get to unless you play the game 24 hours a day 2)the game in its self is a scam reasons for this you purchace clothes and stronger rods with your gp you get from catching fish but the problem with this once you get level 5 you need to buy a new rod to continue leveling up but and this is a big but all your items ( clothes\fishing rods\even your hair ) has a time limit before they expire yep thats right most items only have a shelf life of 3 days before you have to buy them again rods last 7 days but once you hit level 10 it is hard to level up taking weeks to do so if you wish to keep playing this game once you reach a highish level you must purchace gold using your credit card or by wire transfer you cannot survive this game without forking out for gold with your real gp f2p my ass do not play this game there is no real thing to do on this game apart from fishing and making friends to own a house you need to buy some credit what you can convert into gold or spend on items the minimum ammont of money per transfer last time i played was $10 not worth it if you want a f2p game try runescape \ monster and me \ conquer online

Ok well let's get some things straight...
Yes some people hate the game, i don't really care, hate away... But don't be posting bs that isn't true about it to back your opnions... come on. 1st - yes things expire, but why whine about it... ITS THE ONLY CHALLENGE IN THE GAME. If things expiring is too much of a challenge for you to take... Then I'm sorry you found Oz World, the game of fishing and chat, so hard. And only the free clothes given by fish have a lifespan of 3 days. Most clothes/hair have a lifespan of 30-40 days. Fishing rods have a liefspan of 7 days until level 21 or something when its 14. 2nd -The most a fish gives is 210g, not 30g, and that's at level 1. Also you can fish for more gold at level 21 to catch fish worth 60-110g. Yes low level fish are low, but that's why you level up. It's PART OF THE GAME. Why level up if there's nothing to look forward to. Just like in combat games where the harder the enemy to fight, the bigger the reward. And usually you can't fight bigger enemies until you've played for some time. 3rd- Yes the game is basically a glorified chat room, but for people who like to chat... I don't see why that's a problem. Maybe you should have read the description of the game before playing. I'm pretty sure it says no different. 4th- Back in the reviews Farhenheit said no one uses the forums? Maybe no one uses this one, because Oz has it's own forum, which is old... But at least many people use it. There's hundreds of posts a day, it's a nice aspect of the game, actually. 5th- The houses are pointless anyway so don't whine about having to buy one with real money. It's the only way the game makes money, so be glad you don't need the damn things. And since Oz has started, 6$ was the lowest you can purchase... 10 isn't even an option. Cash is also a really nice aspect of the game. No, you do not need it at all. But for those who want more, why is it so bad to have the option? Next time you wanna review a game... I suggest you know what you're talking about. |

Oz is a great game it doesnt claim to be a game that is extremely complex and for those of you noobs out there the part were you say that the graphics are horible is the point where it shows that you have no actual use for them so you should stick to a text based MMORPG because their is a specialized type of art form for each individual game otherwise if everyone was trying to look realistic it would be pointless... tell me this have you ever wanted to play a game where you do the same things as in real life as you should be doing instead of being on a computer?
If you have then go do them. Don't complain about graphics certain games have diffrent art styles, and another thing you dont need money to play oz, they only put in that feature for those who want to do that, they dont say you have to do this you have to do that, and you say runescapes such a great game well I've played that game to and to get most of the updates you have to pay a minimum of $5 a month to play in members, the free world you can only do so much. |

Wow this game looks good , espicielly as its free , from what ive read it looks kinda like Animal crossing for nintendo , but multiplayer , and free! hope the download aint to big though Monkeytroll

you know, I played this game once and quit because there was nothing to do but fish and yea, it's basically just a chat room, but I'm not gonna download a game and spend my time loading it up and computer space when I could just go into an actual chat room. I was thinking about trying the game again, but apparently it's still nothing but fishing. They need to add more activities, like some mini games or something. Maybe pool, darts, cards, something with more activity than just sitting there fishing.
