I just started playing on the sGE server, and I see a lot of cool looking avatars.  But where do you get them?  I don;t see them in the cash shop, is it all quest based?  Are the quests worth doing or should I stick with my Ele/Ele/Scout setup (level 40)?

Also, I don't understand how AFK leveling is suppose to work.  Whenever I do it my characters just die within 2 minutes.  Then they get up and do not attack, just stand there and die again.  Maybe its because of my ele/ele/scout setup...  But I tried other types and they all seem to die fast on AFK.

The market is also pretty harsh on Rembrandt.  I used my lvl 1 newb gear all the way to level 37 because I couldn't find anything better for less than a million Vis (big lol).

For those suggesting another setup; The reason I go Ele/Ele/scout is because I want to search-and-destroy area bosses.  Dual maxed Absolute Zero is pretty powerful...

Assuming it works the same as in Sword, they are a mix of cash shop and in game quest. There, you could tell by looking at the outline around them, yellow for quest, red for cash shop.

And it's mostly a matter of gearing and placement.  You need to be able to one hit the monsters on that map, and you want to be able to reduce the number to a manageable level that you don't get overwhelmed.  So basically, try to park them next to the edge of a map or wall, or some sort of terrain.

Also make sure your scout isn't equipped with any weapon, so it will heal automatically.

You can AFK with two eles+scout, back when I played, someone in my guild usually ran that. But eles do tend to attack a little slowly.
