The Wizard is an invigorating magic-using class, and specializes in AOE attacks, spells, curses, and buffs. The Wizard can levitate, employ telekinetic powers, shield team members from many types of attacks, and possesses a lethal and devastating array of curses. A great deal of variety and power is spread across the Wizard's 6 stances and 23 skills. Here are just three of them:
Psychokinesis - A magic stance affecting others physically.
- Throw Back: Strong telekinetic attack that knocks an opponent backward.
- Web: AOE attack slams flying enemies to the ground and pins them, and also holds all ground enemies still. Affects up to 6 opponents.
- Earthquake: Violent AOE shakes the ground and knocks down as many as 8 enemies.
Apocalypse: AOE attack that creates an enveloping darkness that severely damages up to 10 enemies.
ESP - A magic stance granting mental powers, mainly of a defensive nature involving buffs.
- Spiritual Shield: Provides all team members with a strong mental shield against offensive magic.
- Anti-magic Shell: Invigorates all team members, and lends an impenetrable shield against magic for a short time.
- Protection Field: Shields one team member with a powerful protective field against physical attacks.
- Dispel Magic: Removes harmful magic from team members and negates buffs from opponents.
Levitation - Impressive Wizard stance grants levitation at the cost of SP, and has several telekinetic skills.
- Reverse: AOE skill cancels attacks of enemies and suspends up to 6 opponents in the air.
- Photon Splash: AOE attack fires damaging telekinetic energy at up to 10 enemies.
- Black Hole: Creates a powerful gravitational field pulling as many as 12 opponents to the ground.
No doubt it is a unique title with a amazing visual.
I'm usually not so critical about games but I just have to say.. I've seen this before; back when it was called Lineage II.
No reason you can't - the IAH version was all over the forums before SotNW payed for ads.
The similarities between the two are that they are both korean games. After that they are two different beasts. Give it a try and youll see for yourself that it is nothing like L2, i played L2 for 2 yrs and i played the beta for GE. Their not even similar in art style which is saying something considering korean game tend to borropw a lot from the same art concepts.
iah.granadoespada.sg I think.
or you can pre-order SotNW online at gamestop.com or go to Gamestop, EBGames or Best Buy and pick up a pre-order box to get into their closed beta. You can also get a fileplanet subscription to get into their closed beta.
Currently the two versions seem to have a couple of big differences. There is a anti-afk thing in K2s version, it looks like the election system is in. There are a whole lot more quests and a new quest giver in Coimbra, more interface option, more tool tips... pretty much my only beef with K2's version is the text, but they have said they are working on it... so if it doesn't pan out by launch theres not way I am buying it... but they have until then...
