This is obviously brand new as I am the first view, and I thought there may have been better questions to ask Gaute, however I am pleased by his answer and the manner in which he spoke of it. I believe him when he gives the reasons for the delay and also that this is the true release date. Let's hope it is true!

Sounds like it was somehow double recorded... anyway.. horrible quality, it should have just been a transcript of the interview. Did you not listen to this first? :P

I think Jon asked the key question here: why the additional delay? And, what particular system is the problem? My impression from other interviews is that the combat system, which is what Funcom feels distinguishes them from others, is the problem. Gaute wisely sidestepped that quetion and used the old hack response "we're looking to polish".
AOC might be ok, but Gaute's body language says things are a bit dicey.
Tsk.

His body language is open, his hands are together which shows a solid posture and response. If he was lying, or being defensive, his arms would be crossed and he'd lean back and try to gain some distance from the interviewer.

If we are going to go by body language, then explain to me why he scratched his nose after he said "it's enjoyable, it's a good game"? Touching your nose is a common gesture when someone is lying.
