In May's Letter from the Game Director, Craig Morrison discussed, among other things, the integration of new Dreamworld engine tech into Age of Conan as something that would be coming down the road for the game leaving many players curious as to what exactly that would entail. With that in mind, Age of Conan Game Director Craig Morrison returns this month with another letter focused squarely on this upcoming integration and what it means for players.

Ultimately, as Craig explains, the Dreamworld integration is a bit more intangible than what players receive in typical content updates pushed out throughout the year. Quests, dungeons, new items are much more ivisible than what the Dreamworld integration will bring. However, players will be able to immediately appreciate some of the benefits that come with the integration, such as improved performance, new graphical features such as deferred lighting, however, the main benefit to Funcom, and in turn you, the players, is the fact the integration will allow developers to produce content faster and more efficiently.

Rounding the letter out Craig discusses update 2.0.5, which has gone live today, noting that the update grew a bit from what they expected to be a small post-expansion update. The update features over fifty new quests, significant changes to the Shrines of Bori, the long-awaited Ranger revamp,  faction armor token drop improvements, and more.
