    Players who preordered the Age of Conan Unchained adventure pack, Savage Coast of Turan, can now log into the game for early access to the new zone. Savage Coast of Turan does not officially launch worldwide until September 8th.

  • Savage Coast of Turan Coming Sept. 8

    The Age of Conan Unchained site has been updated with new information about the upcoming Savage Coast of Turan adventure pack. Turan is slated to be released on September 8th. Turan's early access bonus pack will be available for 2,000 Funcom points which includes an additional level 50 character option, and additional character slot, and a week of early access to the Adventure pack. It can also be purchased for 1,300 Funcom points with no early access.

The package is found under 'special offers' and contains, according to devs, a variety of useful potions.

    According to news from the Age of Conan development team, both server populations and Funcom revenues are way up after last month's launch of Age of Conan Unchained, the free-to-play version of the game. From information provided by Funcom, over 300,000 new players have signed up and played Age of Conan Unchained.

  • Hybrid Revenue Model Adopted

    Funcom has announced that it will premier a new hybrid F2P/premium revenue model for Age of Conan beginning this summer. In addition, a new digital edition will debut called "Age of Conan: Unrated". Funcom has published both a general FAQ about the move as well as a comparison chart that highlights the differences between the free and paid versions.
