Let go, let Game. |
I think it would be really cool if characters who grouped and worked together could build a kind of "teamwork exp" and after time get some cool cooperation bonuses or special abilities. Like how Conan, Subotai, and Valeria got good at working with each other in the movie and started taking on bigger and badder raids.

actually i would be more then happy to payu for world of conan... as long as the montlhy fee doesn't get way too high i will defenitly play conan... how ever from what i read it like it is gonna be a challange to get the servers reliable. but i am sure they will fix that... and com'n you ought to give them more credit then $2 dollars ... you pay more playing WoW. just wanted to give my opinion ... greetz Dr.Magistic |

Keep the children out? Nope, do you have any idea how many kids under the age of 16 are using their parents credit cards to play WOW? WOWs subscription is 15 US dollars a month, a mere 2 Pounds wont do the trick along those lines. If I recall right, that would put it just under 4 dollars. |

Heh, and if the OP thinks this game will only be worth 4 bucks, then he needs to call Blizzard and let them know WoW should be paying us. |

£2 ? Since when have we EVER payed that for an MMO? Keep children out? If I remember correctly, WOW is:
more expensive than £2 has loads of children in it so it would invite MORE children if it were £2... I say keep the pricing tag as it usualy is, at $15/£9 per month, but make the game a bit complex, involving, with long story lines and solid mechanics. WOW has children in it because it is easy. Make AoC a bit harder, like MMOs used to be and children will lose interest. |

I somewhat agree with you. I higher fee would (maybe) keep children out. But, I don't like to paying for MMO's at all at least nowadays. I might consider this or future games if and only if the gameplay is outstanding.
A good way to keep children, and those who are not devoted, from playing is, like you said, to increase the difficulty. But the trouble lies in where to set the boundary. A player might be turned off if there was a sharp learning curve. Furthermore, I think that the real issue is not "children" in the sense of age but maturity. If that is the case, there will always be the case. |

I personally don´t mind to pay monthly fees for a game like this 1,the money can always help to generate new expansions and tweeks and also if I am not correct this is for the much older rating gameplay .It would keep the level of kids down and the level of mature community up;)
