Hi Guys,

Purchased AOC collectors edition back in the day. My PC never ran it very well, and I faded from the game.

Nowadays running a GTS 250 1GB, Dual Core CPU and 4 GB Ram. Hoping it will run the game in a better manner.

To get up and running quickly, am I better off installing from the discs (and I assume downloading a horde of patches) or

just downloading the new f2p client from Funcom's Website

Thanks

I have the disc as well , but when i went back recently i opted to DL the new client , i wasnt sure if i would run into any major problem trying to install the original version and patching it to hell , id say if you got the net speed , download it , might be just as quick as installing and patching the disc version .

For some reason I cant get the client to resume downloading when it is shut down. Considering Im not in a position to leave my PC on for 9 hours+ , looks like the game is a no go.

I dont mind downloading huge game files, but surely there must be a way to enable resuming?
