Simply put, no. AoC is mostly a pve game nowadays. You can't level through pvp, and most of the time you'll have to either pve (Group hard mode dungeons) or bori( brainless node harvesting) to reach good gear / AA points for pvp. The only things that keep me interested in the game are the combat system + pve stuff.
