Screw you and your hundred character limit.

I tried googling and reading their FAQ, but I'm still a bit unsure of some things.  After finding out that my "freeform" characters in Champions FFA are still essentially locked, unless I become a "gold" subscriber, I want to be sure about how this works before wasting any retcons or unlocks or whatever they might call anything I might waste.

As a past player, I have a few characters.  If I understand correctly, I'm free to unlock only two of them, but it can be any two.  Even the ones that are otherwise restricted classes?  I noticed some of my characters have a little skull next to their class icon - does that mean those are "premium" classes?  Or something else?

Is there anything else I should know, before picking which two to unlock?  Will I lose anything when I do so?

When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

I thought the skull just appeared on characters you have highlighted. If you mouise-click the skull it will ask you to enter the character name  if you want to delete them.

Doh, hehe maybe.  I just feel like I want to be extra careful.  They make these F2P transitions so complicated.  I understand why, but still.. just don't want to screw up in some way, converting my character to something I don't want, like you have to do, in CO.

the 4 free classes

* Barbarian
* Demonologist
* Guardian
* Priest of Mitra

...also...I subscribed prior and they allowed me 3 unlocked characters. You can play non-free classes that you've already started prior to F2P but can not create any new premium classes w/o unlocking them through store purchase.

Yeah.. I think this F2P is much less limiting..initially...than the CO Free For All..though some of the store pricing is hefty.

It may seem the four classes are too restrictive but they really are some of the best classes imo.
