Yup... that's from the AoC soundtrack. What are the chances that somebody who has never touched AoC would know about the soundtrack? Of course, FunCom is Norwegian no? That might increase the chance. Still... very creepy to hear one of my favorite soundtracks associated with something so utterly diabolic

He played Wow and MW2 (was all he had on his facebook page that he mentioned playing) he liked classical music as well, so he was at least interested in games, plus AoC is known here in Norway, still surreal though.

Dunno why anyone would care where the music is from. Same as his quotes from some politicians.. it's not like any of them had a word in it.

It's not uncommon, that certain kind of music sounds great for most.

To make it even worse for Funcom .... there is his crazy "Templars" fixation as well. *glances at at another game's factions*

He's a random wack-a-loon I wouldn't read anything into anything he says or does. I bet a lot of Norwegians wish they had the death penalty for this one.

There's no templar faction. Only one single class which is Dark Templar.

There's plenty of other games/movies that had templars in them.

I can attest that Funcom's games will NOT turn you into a violent rightwing loony.  If they did, I'd have at least voted Repubilcan in the last few elections.

That's all we need though, another uproar by idiots because they're dumb enough to actually think video games can make you violent.

Its not so much of "this music will turn us into insane monsters" im worried about,  far from it.

my concern is all the jack thompsons of the world to scheme some retarded idea about this sad incident and say:  

"OMG this music is from a video game, SOMEBODY CALL FOX NEWS and Good Morning America!"

Yes, im not Swedish by ethnicity, but I was born and raised here, and met many a wonderful norwegian people, but here and abroad, and this atrocity in Norway is very saddening..

I mean; for your ideology, if you go around killing people who mean you no harm, than how come you are any better than the people you so seem to despise?

And to top that all, using Norwegian FUNCOM'S AOC soundtrack? I beleive BOTH Funcom employees, Helene Böksle (if memory serves) AND most of the AOC and MMO players at large would be ashamed of this.

Knights, templars, guns and bloody murder might be all fun in games and warhammer universe, but when you take it a step further into reality, thats when it turns real ugly.

Psychiatrists have people so paranoid they're scared of their own thoughts.  It's like they're replacing the church as the arbiter of what we can think and feel or admit to thinking and feeling.  And indeed, one must be careful these days what one says, because the thought police have every one of us trained to jump at shadows. 

So of course they blame violent games and movies and music for things like this when of course those things don't make us violent.  They are all merely a fantasy outlet that redirects the violent tendencies every single human being has into something harmless.  Those who actually commit violent acts like this are simply too violent to redirect themselves away from carrying out real violence.  As for the rest of us, decap and let the blood spray in AoC, it isn't going to lead to a single real life beheading.

Actually, come to think of it, why should we trust these head shrinkers to even know that simulated violence is a redirection of the instinctual violence in our species?  Maybe it's really the redirection of risk taking behavior or of something else.  They don't seem to know very much about why people do what they do, so why should we trust anything they say?
