I'm pretty fond of the Barb right now, and I keep reading the somewhat stifled threads on the official AoC forum about combo cancelling and how it doesn't work so well for female avatars. I'm about resigned to rolling a male Barb for my pvp fun. So, any melee pvpers out there with female toons have a better opinion of pvping well as a female character? |

if you are very good at pvp, it would make you a tiny, slight bit better. if you are not good, you won't see the difference. |

Its a -must- have if you wish to belong to the top of the pvp food chain. reason: combo skipping, male version of the classes can combo skip far far easyer then the female counterpar, infact its not possible whit most of the female animations. how it work, just check youtube. its a simple thing that gives a big dammage bonus being able to skip a 3-5 sec animation. |

Thanks, all. I guess I'll roll a male barb, then. I don't know if I'll ever be good enough to see the difference (I watched a few youtube videos already, I think I can get the timing down okay), but if I do get good enough to see the difference, I don't want to be limited by mechanics other pvpers aren't limited by. Nice to know if I'm around long enough to decide it's worth it to sub I can try a female sin, though. |
