With AoC now using a F2P Hybrid model similar to LOTRO, did anything change with the crafting or are F2P users able to craft to Tier 3? Can F2P users build a T3 city and so on? |

Players expressed their disappontment with AOC crafting even before the game was launched.Funcome continues to ignore years of entreaties to improve crafting. |

Originally posted by Shadanwolf I know that crafting in AoC was horribly done, but thats not really what I was asking. Just curious if F2P users can even build a T3 city. The hybrid model says FREE play doesn't allow sieges, but doesn't mention anything about crafting. I think it said you had full access to guild features, so maybe FREE play does allow the construction of T3 cities then, who knows. |

Originally posted by skeaser Yes, but rather than trying to figure out every little thing available to FREE users that isn't listed on their payment model chart, asking here seems much easier. =) P.S. Be careful resubbing to AoC as I tried to resub both my accounts and got error after error message. I've had issues with Funcom before and billing, as in, multiple unauthorized charges and so on, so be careful not to get screwed over. |

I am curious about this as well, been wondering if I'll be able to craft the sunsteel full plate stuff on my Guard at higher levels. I'm hoping F2P players have no crafting restrictions. |

Well the F2P inventory makes crafting hard, as does making them only able to hold 2g max - anything above is lost so hard to buy and sell when you only get 2g to work with, also the mailbox and auction house restrictions make it tricky. Do-able, but not fun |

To build a guild city you really need to be a guild (or else you will work on your city for the next 20 years)... It would be hard to imagine that none of officers in your guild payed a normal sub. That's all it would take to build the T3 guild city with asame ease as anyone else... And this still if 99% of your guild was pure F2P players. So I would say, there is no restrictions in the game on building city and facilities for crafting and so on. The Ultimate Breakdown |
