The Hand of Set was formed in June of 2006 by the great Prophetess, *Nkosi*. She mysteriously disappeared around November of 2006. Yet our members were very strong and dedicated to what Hand of Set stood for, and we continued to grow and flourish.

The Hand of Set (also called The Hand or HoS)is a Stygian/Cimmerian/Aquilonian RP-PvP guild for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.

The guild is based on the premise of a cult following the dark serpent God Set, their ultimate aim being to establish their god’s dominion across the face of the earth. They believe that Set is not for Stygians alone and will embrace all those who heed his call, going so far as to even subvert the power of Mitra and taking his fallen Priests into their fold.
It believes that it has received a mission from Father Set himself via the prophet Nkosi to spread his divine teachings to those outside of Stygia by any means necessary.

Age of Conan offers a variety of optional gameplay elements;
PvP, PvE, Roleplaying, Town Building and Questing, among others. Though currently quite small we are still able to provide our members with a great deal of end game content such as raiding and seiging via our relationships with a range of other excellent guilds. While primarily focused on RP and PvE at present we also enjoy PvP and, should our numbers and membership interest warrant it, we will gladly give our attention to group PvP once again. Our city (the lovely Xu’Set) is primarily T3 and we will not rest until it is all T3.

The Hand of Set is a US based guild.
Our official time zone is Eastern Standard Time. We do, however, accept Europeans if they are able to play on US servers.

Joining

You, as the human player sitting at your computer reading this,
must realize and accept that this guild is dark, evil,and embraces concepts within the game that are abominable in the real world. These include slavery, murder, bigotry, demonology and necromancy (to name a few).
The guild will also contain its fair share of erotic overtones and blatant sexual expression.

To apply to The Hand is to understand and accept this.
