Its still the same ppl that are developing the game that shipped this game unfinished and did everything possible to hide the state of the game at that time.  I would go ALOT deeper into this part if NDA would be lifted and we were allowed to say what was said between the Closed beta testers and the developers.   Sadly we are not allowed to say much so ... you guys will have to excuse me still trying.

There IS a reason I have spend time watching AOC since retail and warning ppl.  I have been involved in many CBs and even ABs but I have never seen such intent to try to scam ppl into buying a MMO game. 

Thats why I still hang around here.  And if you think I base my info on 3 month old data....  No I don't.  If you are wondering why I then bother to sub if I dont like it ?   Read what I said above.  The makers of this game went FAAAR over the line in what is acceptable to any game developing and marketing.  Everyone needs to know that and hopefully ppl know about it in time to at least take a unbiased disission. 

But hey...  This game will eventually go free trial so if ppl want to test the PVP patch and the "much" improved game - then they can wait for it.  All Im here for is warn them that there will be hype incoming - both from Funcom and from the "fanboys" that will go out of their way to claim things that are in most cases not true.

siege battle mechanics working and a group of people without uberleet computers participating on them isn't a change? the game has problems...but it has fixes occasionally too. its just not enough for me to come back yet.

and don't you dare write me off as a fanboy. i just think blind statements about nothing being fixed are just flat out lies. i'm waiting for the patch when they add the fun though

So far you have gone out of your way to talk about everything other than the game - including doing your best to insult ppl with coments and picutres that have nothing to do with anything talked about in the topic. 

If you want to talk facts then plz do so.  You could start up by posting the last month of "wednesday" patches in the game if you want to point out how much improved it is.

I have never said that nothing has been fixed.

I have on the other hand pointed out that no new content has been added and that the game is still the same.  Same as in the developers using the exact same methods of fooling ppl as they did on day one. 

Not a word about no fixes.  I can tell you that they fixed the missing boy 73 days after I reported it "missing"   It was fixed yes...  The effort was mesured in less than 5 mins of fixing and it took 73 days.

don't get me wrong...i hate funcoms lies...i wanted to siege from day one. i should have been able to. its a bit late, but it is nice to be able to get up on a wall now and rain down death and it actually have a point

You know, I don't actually see anyone use that stupid phrase, or phrases like it, except when purporting to parody others.

ie No-one really writes that stuff Mr Bloodworth; at least - I have not seen it here from the anti-AoC crowd.

So, you are parodying something that does not exist, in an attempt to denigrate the opposite point of view. It's an old but cheap rhetorical trick - misrepresent someone else, then attack the misrepresentation.

Which said, I do see one person who has used that language in his posts: you. So, in fact, what you are purporting to parody is yourself.

Sorry - but I doubt that the hate lvl of this game took this topic up to 81 pages.

put it this way.  The big selling point to this game was PVP and seiging.   Yet answer this question..  is it possible for a guild to conquer a battlekeep that is being defending by a guild that no longer exists?

There are still battlekeeps that are owned by guilds that no longer exist.   That is just a sad statment about a game that was built around seiging.

Stats still aren't working.... people are saying that stats aren't important... well that is because they don't do anything... of course they are unimportant.   Players are still wearing level 40 gear at endgame because gear doesnt' matter.   Gear still looks all the same despite comments made back in April...

All Funcom does is promises stuff about the future.. same as they they did to beta testers.. 'we'll fix it'.

yeah....about that stat thing...i took off all my rangers armor the other night and did a naked clear of the first villa. the damage is all from the skills it seems.  (i died a bit more often than usual...but the fact that i full cleared it naked means armor needs a massive overhaul) this was done with epics removed actually, since i put all my gemmed gear in the bank due to the upcoming nerf.
