... (a position many people are in) - may I recommend, if you haven't played it, the Witcher.

I missed it because I had been put off by tech problems etc.. but they have been pretty much fixed now and the game is really fantastic. Incredibly atmospheric and filled with intrigue.

All in all a very fun single player RPG to freshen up before WAR.

The only reason to play WAR is if you like the same old things and just want to occupy yourselves untl something new is out...

there is no other reason :/

I pre-ordered it, played the hell out of it and was so impressed that I became the Site manager at witchervault.ign.com/ for a time.

You want real gritty, mature content than The Witcher is the way to go.

I'm enjoying the Witcher quite a lot.

I love the open-ended nature of it.. that there's a storyline, but so much "on the side" that you can do

I'm still early on (dealing with those hounds in the village shortly after the beginning - creepy), but already enjoying it.

playing oblivion (modded to hell lol) and some fps games just because i got in the mood for em (mostly Medal of Honor:Allied Assault and Call of Duty 4...single player on both...dont enjoy the fps community )

That guy can make any game sound like crap, but do it in the most entertaining way.

Overall, I dunno... I haven't found Witcher troublesome at all so far. It's been nothing but intriguing and fun to me so far.

Meh I was never realy impressed with the Witcher. I really thought I would love it, but it never seem to go well with Vista (for me anyway), At least I think Vista was the problem. I would spend hours looking for solutions/fixes over the net and download all the big patches. (Before I had a good internet connection.) Did all this and to no improvements. It really put me off the game. Also I wasn't a big fan of the combat. Got kind of old for me after a while. The fatalities were pretty cool though.

Oblivion I played for about 40 hours and got tired of it hehe. Combat was kind of lousy and I thought the look of the spells really sucked. Graphics were awesome for it's time though. Thankyou for sharing OP.

I am in search for a great and appealing RPG for pc, online or single player, but havent found anything yet that I already own lol. For now it's just call of duty 4 and soul caliber 4. :D

Playing some Neverwinter Nights (still fun even all these years later :-p), playing some random free single player games...

Playing LoTRO again, since a few friends of mine recently re-subbed. So we're "hanging out" and that's fun.

Nothing else really keeping my sole attention.

The witcher is a very good RPG. And with RPG i mean Role play game. And not the crappy hack and slash we use to play on CRPG games.  Mass Effect and Witcher are the only two good RPG's released latelly, so any RPG fan has to play these. Theres not much else to play.   Maybe Mount & Blade.
